This Gonzo Natural Deodorizer is great at eliminating bad odors. I've had it open for a while now and it seems to last and last. It absorbs bad odors in the bathroom and leaves it smelling fresh without a strong odor. Some deodorizers can give me a headache because they are too strong. This one is very natural and does it's job easily. It would be great in any room in my house, but of course, the bathroom seemed to make the most sense as a true test. It's small enough to hide as well so it's not seen by guests.

The Gonzo Odor Absorbing Gel in Brushed Cotton scent is pleasant, fresh and not at all overpowering. No chemical odor, either.
I keep one in the bedroom. It's barely noticeable unless I leave the room and return after an extended period. I don't notice the scent of the gel so much as it just smells clean and fresh.
The only critique I can offer is the size of the jar. They're sometimes difficult to hide and I really don't like having them visible. Find a better way to contain the gel - that doesn't look like a plastic jar of odor eliminator sitting about - and it would be a 5-star product.

This is a nice odor absorbing gel. The scent is quite strong, so at first seems to be a little strong. I'm not the biggest fan of the brushed cotton scent, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. This product is ideal for keeping in a bathroom, near the trash bin in the kitchen, or near a pet litter box. Anywhere you have odors, this is a great item to keep around so it will absorb the bad odors and emit good smells.

We have purchased many different odor absorbing gels. Many times the smell is just too much for a small area so we end up putting them in the basement or only opening a small portion of the paper cover. This Gonzo product was great the smell was not over powering and we could actually use it in the laundry room where the cat box is. This helps keep the just used smell bearable. Great product.

Seems to work, but not in a large space. Our basement is nearly entirely finished, and my wife always says that it smells, there, not exactly musty, but just a non-traditional odor. Having letterboxes down there doesn't seem to be helping the problem, but that's where they are. I was hoping that this would actually take some of the odor out, but It seems mostly to be covering the odor.
The gel's scent itself is strong, and I can really smell it where it's located, but possibly because of how large the room is, I mostly just notice the scent changing in that area.
Again, it could be absorbing the odor there, but because of the room's size, you can still smell the original smell. It is supposed to work for rooms up to 300sq ft, which is slightly smaller than a two car garage, so my basement is probably a little bigger, however, I could see this really helping in a smaller room.

Smell absorbing gel, in a long lasting, nicely scented and durable pack. I noticed when I moved mine, the difference in odor, and the freshness factor. This is one gel air freshener that I can say appears to be made in a way that won't cause me concern, while providing a very good scent. The concern part comes because some of these kinds of products have beads in them, or are liquidy and can spill. This seems to be a solid gel that will last longer and keep smelling as good long after day one, and many have not lived up to this challenge. When I opened the box, I could smell the scent; I was afraid it had spilled. But it was sealed up well, it just was strong enough to make it smell nice in the box. I'm excited to see how long this will last, but again, based on the consistency of the gel, I think this one is a winner. And the smell closely resembles the "fresh linen" type smell you get from other air fresheners, not offensive, and not overpowering.

This 14 oz. Brushed Cotton Odor Absorbing Gel is a very good product! The smell is very refreshing, not too strong, just right so you're not overwhelmed when you enter the room. We use these for our bathroom and it helps keep the bathroom smelling fresh and clean. We have used these in other rooms, but they always end up being needed in the bathroom for some reason. lol

I put this product in a back corner of our basement, which has the added problems of being the location of the cat's litter boxes and poor air circulation. Due to the fact that a living area (exercise room and lounge) is nearby, odor control is an issue even with a clean litter box. This did seem to improve the odor situation after a few hours.The container says that for strong odors, that you may need to increase air circulation in the area. I can see that adding a fan nearby would increase evaporation of the gel product and potentially improve odor control, although I have not tried this tactic yet. I think in an area with mild odor or musty condition, that you could expect a modest improvement in reducing problem odors.
