Awesome addition
Awesome addition! Love the size and how intuitive it is. I would just like the noise maker option to be consistent. Sometimes it pulls from YouTube which rotates several different noises through the night.

    I put this in my bathroom,(no camera!) and it reminds me of my appointments and tasks for the day, and week, shows me the weather forecast, and serenades me with YouTube Music, Pandora, and Sirius XM online music! Great buy!

        The google hub is fine. If you plan to have...
        The google hub is fine. If you plan to have a speaker or hub in each room, want to control a whole house, send reminders to kids, etc. then I’m sure it’s great. I simply wanted three things: a bluetooth speaker, an alarm clock, and smart lightbulb control. This meets two of those criteria. The speaker is honestly worthless. The quality is so low that I usually can’t make out the words on a podcast unless I turn the volume up high. A friend of mine has a google speaker, which I just played with a few days ago, and it is far superior to the hub speaker. If sound is your priority, pass this one over. For what I need, it’s fine. Bulky, but fine. I had started with a Lenovo Smart Clock but had constant connection issues between the lights, the clock, and the wifi. That said, I think the audio was better. Maybe the new version this fall will be worth looking at again. Only keeping this because I missed the return window by one day, unfortunately. Remember to check the number of days in each month, folks!

        If you haven't tried yet, you can change the audio settings of your Nest Hub in the Google Home app:
        To Adjust bass and treble level:
        - Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
        - Open the Google Home app.
        - Tap the device you want to adjust and then Settings and then Audio and then Equalizer.
        - Adjust Bass and Treble level.

          Compare to my Google home (speaker), the nest hub is a lot faster on executing the command. By turning on the same smart light, the nest hub is a second or two faster in average.

              Still early use
              Even though my smart home is still small with a hub and 3 lights and a thermostat with our TV linked to it as well, we use it limitedly but slowly we are finding the many uses for the hub

                Delay in notification
                Seems to have about a minute delay from contact and notification.

                  Had to call the local Sheriff's to do welfare check on the Mrs as I couldn't get hold of her. Seems her New Pixel 5a5g was frozen

                    Is ok to view the doorbell but slowly reacts when doorbell pressed or when it detects someone and has a huge battery drain, connection issues.Expected more from google but they let me down with this product.

We could be looking at a possible connectivity issue. It’s important to make sure that the bugs you are experiencing are not caused by a spotty or weak Wi-Fi signal. We suggest checking your Wi-Fi network for a strong and reliable connection. If you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network, removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. You can also try doing a factory reset to improve its performance.
