Used to repair a broken aluminum intake manifold on my pathfinder. It set up in ~ 4 minutes which was important since I had to hold it in place while it set up. Hoping it holds up, a new manifold will be a pricey alternative. I was torn between J.B Weld and the Gorilla Weld but I've been very pleased with the Gorilla product line.

I used this stuff to fix part of a plastic handle of a screen door that snapped off. If you’ve ever worked with Bondo before, that’s what this compound is like. Personally, I found that it cured really fast. It started to harden within a minute, more or less, so you need to mix it quick and plop it onto where it needs to go. What I’d recommend is that you work with it in pea sized drops. Then use a toothpick to mix the compound and apply it to the area you need to glue. Also, it’s a wee bit soupy so I’d recommend you glue your pieces flat on the ground because if you go vertical with it, the stuff will drip down (unless you wait for it to start to harden which makes it more difficult to apply). Once it hardens, it’s hard as a rock but with a hard, rubbery surface. I let it cure for 24 hours before I mounted the handle back onto the screen door, but the compound is pretty hard but tacky within 5 minutes. Best of luck with your gluing adventures.

Gorillaweld 2 part epoxy 4,250psi, I had a water leak at my swimming pool pump pipe I would have had to cut a lot of PVC piping to be able to remove the pipe that was leaking, I seen the Gorillaweld at Home Depot and I figured what the heck it's already leaking couldn't hurt if it didn't work I would have to go the other way and cut it all out, I cleaned the area around the metal pump and the PVC pipe that was leaking mixed the 2 parts together as the instructions said I applied it all around the PVC pipe and the brass pump inlet and waited until the next day day to turn the pump back on, It's been a month so far and no more leaks. Great product for me.

this is an excellent epoxy compound, it is easy to blend and can be cleaned off with rubbing alcohol - it has great holding power and can also be used as dark gray filler - used it to fill in holes in a dark gray plastic remote control - the color match was almost perfect, easily sanded and used rubbing alcohol to blend in the edges. The manufacturer does not recommend using on polyethylene or polypropylene plastics - but absolutely do NOT get this near polystyrene plastic - in the past I have used polystyrene cups for mixing Gorilla Epoxy Clear but when I mixed GorillaWeld in a polystrene cup it immediately melted the white inside surface and started melting the red outer portion of the cup - see photos - looks like a chemical reaction. Additionally the package directs you to puncture the seal with the plastic cap, be sure to wipe off any excess residue, I was in a hurry and the excess on the tube of resin melted the plastic coated label, this is potent stuff with an appropriately potent odor.

HOME DEPOT SEEDS I have so many cosmetics that I had to buy a toolbox to hold them. Problem is the toolbox is steel and very heavy. I knew that I wanted to add castors and my effort to hot glue them on failed miserably. On the package of this Gorilla Weld it says steel bond epoxy so I gave it a try and so far the castors are still on! This is a two part application. You dispense in equal parts then mix together. Wear gloves because it gets everywhere and use in a well ventilated area due to strong fumes. Do not disturb for 10-30 minutes. I let it cure for 24 hours. Not recommended for use on certain plastics. This Gorilla weld will even bond concrete and once cured, can be drilled. If these castors stay on, I can’t wait to use this product for other applications.
