While this stuff seems to have endless uses, I didn't need it 'til I got a splinter from my shovel handle. Yeah, I should wear gloves, but when I'm multitasking, gloves sometimes get left off. So I tried this stuff on the shovel handle, and the result was a sealed handle with a fairly non-slip finish. It lasted through a short trench without damage, so this looks like another thing it's good for. It sticks quite well.

This Gorilla waterproof patch and seal rubberized sealant spray saved the day for me. I got it to seal the cover over my patio but hadn't got to it yet because of freezing weather. A week ago we got heavy rain and water started dripping down the inside of my window really bad, I pulled off my blind and dried the area as much as I could and sprayed the Gorilla sealant on the leak. It stopped Immediately, I was so pleased it worked, I have sprayed above my window seals outdoors and will get someone to climb a ladder and spray the patio cover.
I recommend this to anyone needing to seal something, best product ever!

I only gave this four stars because I wasn't quite sure what to use it on. I tried to use it on some plastic sheeting that had a few holes in it but that just didn't seem to plug the holes and they weren't very big. Then I decided to spray the base of my 4x4s for my fence posts. They are not pressure treated but I used them anyway and I thought this might be the perfect thing to keep them from being exposed to water. So that's what I did. And then I submerged them in the ground and secured them with concrete.
I honestly don't see why that would not work. I did try it out first on a separate piece of wood and let it dry and then submerged it in water and it seems like the perfect solution.
It formed a rubberized barrier.
That being said, this may not be what you're supposed to use it for but I think it is a very good use.
Just came in white which was good for my application since my fence is white. It would be nice if it came in other colors also.

This waterproofing sealed the gasket in our toilet tank really well. Applied two coats and let it dry at least 24 hours between each coat. Then waited about 2 days before filling with water. The coating had dried very hard. The leak wasn't that bad, but now no leak at all. The can didn't come with the spray adapter which would have been handy to get in the tight area.

So when I first touched this product, I had the strange urge to replace the floor of a boat with a screen door and seal it with this stuff, but since I don't own a boat to do that, I decided the best use of this would be to seal a small hole in my gutter that I noticed dripping the other day.
Following the instructions, I first cleaned and dried the area around the hole as best I could. The hole was no larger than 1/8 inch, so not too big. I was able to spray both sides of the hole, which made it a little easier to seal in one go. The can says to let it dry for 24 hours and add more coats if needed, but I did not need to (it says it can fill gaps up to 1/4 inch). It can bubble up a bit with the spray, particularly since I had to spray closer than the recommended 8-12" away to avoid overspray, so for exterior applications that are visible, you might want to have a paper towel or something to help smooth things out a bit.
We'll see if it lasts, but so far, it looks pretty good and I'm satisfied with the results. I threw a pitcher of water in the gutter as a quick test and it didn't leak. The bigger test will be whether or not it lasts through the winter and a few freeze-thaw cycles here in GA. So far, though, this is allowing me to postpone gutter replacement for a little while longer. Maybe I can get that boat after all...

sealed leaking gasket of toilet tank. 20 year old tank had a small leak of about 2T per day where tank connects to bowl. Was hard to spray without the adjustable nozzle ... can didn't include it. Spray comes out heavy and thick. I let the first spray dry about 40 hours and then did a second coat. Waited another 60 hours and the coating had dried hard. Water has been in the tank about 8 days and the leak has decreased to about one drop every other day. Very satisfied and can wait a while before replacing the tank. The white spray can is 14oz and covers a lot of area. I used about half the can for this project. Note that the black spray can is larger at 16oz. I have used Flexseal for other projects but now prefer Gorilla's waterproofing spray.

I expected so much more from the brand GORILLA. I cleaned and prepped as directed. Followed the directions and did 3 solid layers to hopefully seal. No luck. NOT worth the money.
