Fill up epoxy grout?

I don't think I would use this type of product for your application. This product creates a very hard plastic type material. In fact so hard it can be sanded to shape if need be.

Hello Mike, Gorilla Epoxy Putty Stick can be used in small quantities. After using the amount needed, store the rest of the stick in the plastic vial. Place the foil stickers back on the ends and replace the film around the stick and ensure the cap is secured tightly on the vial. Store in a cool, dry place away from children and animals. Product mixed well and hardened as expected; however, it did not adhere to the underside of my man-made stone counter-top to mount the retaining studs for my sink. I did clean all surface areas with denatured alcohol as directed. I would suggest a liquid epoxy over the paste type.

Great product. I usually go with JB weld but this one is advertised for more PSI. Used some to fix my truck. 30 min set time and hardens well. Worth keeping a stick in your tool bag for those emergency in-place repairs.

Low tensile stength
Used this to glue metal bracket to underside of granite countertop in order to support an undercount sink. Used blobs about 1 sq in in size. When we tightened the nuts the epoxy failed. Appears to have stuck sufficiently to both the granite and the metal, but tensile strength was probably well less than 100psi. Advertises at 900 psi. FAIL. Would never recommend unless for light woodworking project.

My second attempt to make a repair was successful. I was able to fix a broken wooden spindle on the front door panel to my house. After cutting a small piece off of the epoxy stick and kneading it for 60 seconds I placed it between the two ends and secured them. The putty is pretty easy to use and ideal for a number of household repairs. Clean up was a snap!

This Gorilla 2 oz. Epoxy Putty Stick will be a good addition to my wood working supplies. There are frequent times when I need just a small amount of epoxy to fill in holes, cracks or join two light items together. The epoxy stick is easy to use. The epoxy stick comes in a tube and wrapped in a clear film. To use it all you have to do is remove the clear wrap from the amount of epoxy you need, cut it off knead it until it is a uniform gray then apply it where needed. It sets up fast, 10 minutes or so. Once dried it can be sanded, drilled or painted. Before using this epoxy stick make sure you are wearing gloves because as you knead it it becomes very sticky! The epoxy can be used for bonding on almost any type of material, such as wood, metal, plastic,PVC, stone and so much more. When finished just wrap the stick back up in the clear wrap put it back in the tube until needed. Also beware a little bit of this stick goes a long way .

I was glad to find the Gorilla Epoxy stick. The putty is easy to use and is waterproof. I used it to repair a metal arbor that broke from storms. You can paint it,sand it and drill thru it. Another great plus is that it can be used indoor or out It sets up in a quick 10 minutes. I haven`t found any surfaces that it hasn`t worked on. The Gorilla products have always worked great for me and this is another product that worked great and did not disappoint.

Gorilla epoxy putty stick gives a strong and solid bond for your repairs. It has a cylinder putty in the tube with two layers. When you cut in required length and mix it using your hand (they advise to wear gloves), it becomes a putty which you can use for your repairs. It says you can use for plumbing but there is no reference if you can use on wet pipes, which I needed for fixing my water pump body.

This is a product that has been around for a long time and is not a Gorilla original, although their products are usually top shelf. Traditionally (and still for other brands), this is displayed in the plumbing aisle. Got a little drip in a trap? Temporarily fill it in with this stuff. It works. I once sprang a leak in an interior section of cast iron steam baseboard. Just a drip. I mixed up a plug of this stuff and it was years before it failed and I had to replace the section. On the household end, I replaced my BBQ brush handle and I expect it to be good as new.

I thought this putty would be the ideal glue for crafts because it can be used on wood and rough surfaces. I cut the portion and mixed it to a solid color. Then I added the stem to the base of my craft. I thought it was clumsy to work with and too firm to stick the pieces together. I continually had to press the pieces together because they kept separating. I was hoping this would be a good product to use for crafts such as these, but it didn’t work well for me. Two hours later, the pieces came easily apart. There are great instruction and the packaging is top notch, but the putty didn’t work for me.

This product is an adhesive putty that can be used to fill holes, cracks, chips, etc. It comes in stick form. You cut off the amount you require and kneed it to mix the ingredients. It can then be applied to the area and will stick in place. After curing (24 h) it can be sanded and painted. I used it to fill holes in a door left after changing knobs - see 3 pictures of before, with putty applied, and after sanding and painting. It works quite well, sands easily and seems fairly impervious once finished. My only complaint is that it sticks to the disposable gloves you must wear and this makes it hard to work with until it is fully mixed. But still a nice product for occasional use.
