Great glue sticks - my one and a half year old daughter and three year old son use these for crafts at home. The glue sticks right away, goes on purple, and dries clear. My daughter likes to wave stuff around and the glue holds immediately. Its a nice peace of mind that these are washable and non-toxic. Toddlers love to get things on their hands and wipe them everywhere. Toddler tested and Toddler approved - best stuff we have used so far, super happy!

My little model loves the Gorilla 20g Kids School Glue Jumbo Stick . It performs as well as any other great Gorilla product and is extremely easy for her little hands to control while fixing her face mask production. Like any kid she loves doing it herself while gluing the stick to the picture. I'm impressed its not messy and its easy for kids to hold. It dried perfectly fast and holds great

It's always nice to have a glue stick around especially when you have young children. And this is a glue stick, but it's bigger! This is great for smaller kids who may still be working on fine/gross motor skills, or who will benefit from the wider grasp. These glue sticks work well with paper, but failed when we tried to use them for felt on felt. I wouldn't expect any glue stick to work very well with felt, but we had success with a different brand. Our son likes the bright colors of the glue stick and he always reaches for this one over the other brand that we have. I'm not sure it's worth a premium.

Decent glue stick for kids projects and school. The thickness of the stick makes it easy to hold on to and control for small hands. The glue does go on purple but quickly turns clear which doesn't allow visualization of where glue has already been applied. Kids do like the color change though. Adhesion is pretty good but with thicker items requires prolonged holding or compression by heavy objects that my kids didn't like waiting on before moving to what they wanted to do next on the project. Overall they're okay but could be improved.

I received 1 Gorilla 20G Kids School Glue Jumbo stick. The description said 6-pack but only received 1. It is disappearing purple. I had a puzzle piece that had come apart. So used the glue stick and it worked great for the job. So it works for grown-ups too. It is a handy glue to have around for certain jobs. My grand kids like using it also for their art projects.

Nice size glue stick but not as sticky as other glue sticks for kids. Probably perfect for 3D printers. I liked the size of this stick and the fact that it is purple (so you should be able to see the glue on white paper) however my 11 year old found that the glue in the stick is a little too hard to get a good coating. When using it she was barely able to coat the paper, certainly not enough to see a purple mark and hence where she had applied glue. When she used it to stick together two pieces of paper (after coating one surface) they barely stuck and the stick certainly would not work for sticking sequins and other doo-dads to paper. This was in contrast to the cheap Scholastic brand glue stick which left a visible line and stuck the paper together. Glue sticks in the hands of kids are a bit of an issue - if the glue is too soft the glue spreads too easily and often much of the stick is wasted. The glue in this stick is much firmer but too firm for a child to be able to spread effectively. Even for an adult it barely spreads - if it were just a bit softer it would be perfect. On the other hand a lot of people use glue sticks for coating the print bed of 3D printers and this stick just may be perfect since it doesn't make lumpy streaks.

I just love using glue sticks. These are fun as it has a deep purple color to it, but as you use it on paper the purple coloring turns clear and I just press the pieces of paper together for it to bond. Most of the time I use it to seal envelopes at home rather than water or lick activate the sealing of them. I find it works very good for this. Yes, there are situations where you still use the old fashion mail system. I found it smooth and not lumping and easy to roll it on. It is a good size and I like how tight the cap seals cause I had other glue sticks that would dry out and be totally useless. It's a good size for kids hands too, and the bright green color cap makes it easy to spot.

The description indicates this is a 6-Pack. However, only one glue stick arrived in the mail. I hope this was just a mistake as this was a sample. It is pretty expensive for just one stick. The kids love the Gorilla on the package. The glue works well. The jumbo size helps with coverage. I received this GORILLA 20G KIDS SCHOOL GLUE JUMBO STICK (6-PACK) for free to write this review.

With a kindergartner that loves making crafts we use a lot of glue. Liquid glue has its place but stick glue leaves less of a mess and helps him work on control and hand eye coordination. The stick is large so it should last for a while but not too big for small hands to control. We had run out and he was so excited for a new one to keep making his creations. He was excited and proud enough that we had to take it to his grandmothers so she could meet tree friend.

This glue has a slight chemical odor when applied. It goes on as a very light purple that faded to clear so fast I couldn't get a picture of it being purple. According to the package it works on paper, wood, fabric, felt, squins, photos, construction paper, plastics, and more. No drying time is specified. I glued two pieces of paper together and let them dry for 30 minutes. When I tried to separate them the paper tore, so the glue was stronger than the paper. I tried it on a couple of small pieces of wood and they bonded right away so no clamping was required. After an hour it had created a fairly strong bond. I suspect if I applied enough force I could have pulled it apart, but this is a kid's glue. This glue stick would be a great replacement for that messy white glue I used when I was a kid to make Popsicle stick sculptures. The green plastic cap takes a firm tug to remove and might be hard for younger children to manage. This could be considered a child safety feature. The package says "small parts, not for children under 3 years". There are no other warnings about age or using under adult supervision. It cleans up with soap and water and can be washed out of fabrics. It's made in China
