Gooey adhesive
Works well for awhile, but after a year or two, the adhesive gets gooey and loses its grip. The Gorilla tape then slides around or peels off. Your surface is now covered with gooey adhesive that won't easily clean off, if at all. I would recommend tapes by a more reputable manufacture such as 3M.

Pricey, but worth it to me. I used it to seal the bottom of my garage door to the rubber threshold (also purchased @ HD) prior to a flash flood (Thanks to the National Weather Service for the flood watch/warning notices) that put about 8" of swirling water on the outside of the door. Kept all but a trickle out of my garage.

REALLY Sticky
I was using it to tape around my window after I put my AC in. I stuck the tape to my dresser to cut off a piece and when I pulled the tape from the dresser, it actually took the wood finish off of the dresser. If you want to tape something down and literally never want to cone off again, this is the tape for you.

I love this tape! The wide version made my Hot Tub Cover repair a breeze. It has been over a year since I put this on the inside cover lid. Extreme temperature changes from 15 degrees F to 105 degrees F and the tape has shown no wear and tear at all nor is it coming up anywhere. This hot tub is opened a minimum of twice daily. I also used this to repair a cheap vinyl car port roof and during our last snow storm the only parts that did not fail where the ones not covered in Gorilla Tape. I am now a Lifetime customer Gorilla Tape is a Fantastic product that I will continue to use for all my repair needs.

This tape is amazing! I've been using it to hold runners together and taped down for about 6 months now. It looks like a patchwork runner quilt over the flooring. The runners have low pile and a plastic like backing that keep my Pergo floors from being scratched by dog toe nails and scraped up by a senior's walker. In addition, it protects from daily heavy teenage foot traffic. The tape also allows for a smooth interface between the runner pieces so the senior can walk/glide safely over it with his walker. It looks OK and is very functional.
