9 oz. Construction Adhesive is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 307.

I have previously used the Loctite adhesive which has for the most part worked pretty well, but I wanted to try the Gorilla Glue version to see if it holds up better over time. The biggest issue I have with the Loctite is that it sometimes weakens over time and needs reapplication. I use this for sealing down some top caps on a retaining wall at my home. Like others have said, I originally thought the tube was defective until I realized you had to cut the plastic under the screw on plastic applicator. Once that was accomplished, the adhesive applies fairly smoothly and dries completely after about an hour or so. It does have a pretty strong hold, but I will see how this holds up over the heat of summer and weather over the course of a year or so and update my review accordingly. Price-wise it is in the middle between Liquid Nails and Loctite. 4 stars

I have used a variety of construction adhesives. This is hard to work with, tacking strength is poor, work will slide off quickly if you do not clamp it for at east 1/2 hour unlike the best construction adhsives which always tacked quickly and securely witho clamping-the original Titebond was the best and all the others, especially water based are pretty useless. The only goo dwate-base I've foundis the foam board adhesive designed specifically for foamboard which works well, but thren it doesn't have to be too strong or tack too well. The Gorilla adhesive is not water-based so i thought I'd try it. Impossible to work below room temperature, too stiff. if you leave an incomplete tube unused for ahile, it becomes so thick it won't come out of the caulkgun. i would not buy this again. And it isn't particularly inexpensive if you need a decent quantity for pro work. Sorry.

I needed an adhesive that would grab fairly fast and not expand while curing. This product seems to fill the bill. It was a good medium viscosity so I could get it to easily flow through a smaller hole cut in the nozzle. I like the way the nozzle screws off and on, making storage easier. You do have to remember to unscrew the nozzle and cut the top before first use. There is no way the metal probe on the end of your caulk gun will penetrate a new tube.

I used gorilla brand stuff before and really like them so I decided to try the Construction Adhesive and It went beyond what I thought it would be...I HAVE A VYINAL fence and the screws for the gate latch would always come undone and I would always have to screw them back in so I put a dab on the screw and the screw stays in place..I also used it to hang a hook on the gate .Best thing since sliced bread.

So far, has worked better than anything else I’ve tried (and I’ve tried many “construction adhesives”). Very sticky, so I need to be more careful next time because it’s very difficult to clean up errant blobs and hard to get off tools and fingers.

I used the construction adhesive to secure down hardwood flooring , risers and nosing pieces on interior stairs to replace carpeting. Several weeks out, the pieces remain quite solidly in place. A bit pricier than similar products but easy to apply and working quite well.

I had 3 different materials: some wood, ceramic from the sink, and a granite piece that overlapped both. I used quite a bit of the adhesive, as this was my 2nd attempt, it is holding solidly.

Only bad thing is that it's hard to poke a hole in it at the tip. I have to use a small drill bit or nail. It has a goofy pointed tip that makes anything you use to poke it go off center.
