can you use this to attach reflective markers on a cement driveway?
Asked by: Brenda
I have used this and similar products with great success. However they usually don't perform well on plastics and vinyl. If your markers are plastic maybe try something else!!!

Can gorilla glue be used to attach cap on a tooth in the human mouth?

Asked by: May
I broke the front half of my tooth off while eating an m&m that was in my ice cream. My wife thought I was nuts but I used Gorilla glue to glue it back on. I cleaned the tooth well and dried the area with Q-tips. I only used a small amount of glue and it held in place. I held my gum back from the tooth while I used a blow dryer for about 15 minutes to let the glue set enough for it to hold. I didn't eat or drink all night. Today is the day after. I cleaned the residual glue off with a dental pick and it looks awesome. It seems to have set perfect. And of course my wife still says I'm nuts but I think she is a little impressed.......

Customer Reviews

2 fl. oz. Original Glue is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorilla Glue - Very Strong! This is an excellent polyurethane glue. It will fill small gaps, is waterproof, and forms an extremely strong bond. It does expand quite a bit, so use a lot less than you think if you're using this for the first time. If you're not careful the glue will drip and bubble out while drying, and then you'll have to deal with scraping off the runout with a razor or chisel. Remove the runout about an hour after application and while the glue is still flexible. If you wait until it's fully cured the removal will become a real chore. You may want to wear gloves when using this glue, it doesn't come off easily. Even after several washings your hands will have that sticky feeling. Unless you're a woodworker who uses this glue often, buy the smallest container you can find. A little goes a long way, and once opened the rest in the bottle will harden much sooner than other glues you may have used before. For the average consumer, Gorilla Glue may be a single use product and the 2oz size will be more than needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good glue but ... The glue has worked well with wood but will expand so do not use too much. Not good for fixing chair legs since when it expands it tends to gulp air making the join weak. Unless you plan on using a lot of it at one time I would stick to the smallest bottle you can find since this product has a very bad habit of drying out in its bottle. No matter how tight I close it I end up having to throw half the bottle away every time I buy this glue and I hate the waste. Bought the small bottle last time and sure enough only was able to use half before it glued itself in the nozzle forcing me to puncture the side it get some of the remaing glue out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds like a 900# Gorilla Pros: Strong Easy to apply Easy to clean * Cons: Bubbles up and expands I love this stuff, but you must be aware that water is the catalyst and when it reacts, it bubbles and expands. This means you must clamp the pieces together, and if any glue seeps out, you have to clean it up before it completely hardens. * Tip for cleanup: Use a razor blade or box cutter to trim off the excess while it is still flexible - about an hour after use. If you wait, it will become very hard and will be difficult to remove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bonding! Gorilla Glue is fantastic. It is easy to use and when used properly (according to the directions) is clean and forms a strong bond. I just used it to re-attached the heel of my cycling shoes and it worked great. I ALWAYS have a bottle of Gorilla Glue in the house. And they have improved the cap so that it doesn't harden in the container, meaning that it should (hopefully) last longer. Make sure you wet the surfaces to be bonded before using it because the bonding is activated by water/moisture./

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Gorilla Glue worked perfectly in bonding the split 2x4 together. Great service in selecting the right glue for the job of fixing a split 2x4 support for a patio swing that had to hold up to 300 pounds when fully occupied!
