Photo #5 shows the Straight Ladder set-up at the recommended 75 degree angle ... the multitude of labels on the ladder provide a ton of useful information. I would recommend this product.

I had second thoughts about ordering this ladder because it was part fiberglass and I knew it wouldn't be as light as my other aluminum ladders. In the end, though, I am glad I ordered it because it has several advantages over my existing ladders. First of all, it is a lot more durable so you don't feel like the ladder is going to collapse on you when you step on it. It also feels much more steady when you go up/down the ladder, which you can do from either side when it is in the open position. The other big advantage of this ladder is that it can be extended up to 15 feet when you need to reach those higher elevations. Most of my projects only require a 10' ladder, but for those where a few extra feet are needed, this ladder is perfect. Aside from the extra weight, I found that it was difficult to push in the two "gorilla" knobs. They have to be pushed in at the same time in order to open/close the ladder or to extend/retract it. I'm not a big person and usually work with a helper, so that shouldn't be a problem when I use it on projects. If you are working alone, though, it could take some coordinated effort to push both knobs in with the same amount of pressure because the ladder is fairly wide. All in all, this is a really great ladder. It gives me a lot of confidence when I use it because it is so durable. I like the attractive yellow color because it makes the ladder stand out. Another nice feature is the plastic box that can be used to hold tools, etc., when it is in the extended position. Would highly recommend it with the two caveats that I noted.

The Gorilla Ladders 15ft Reach Twin Step Fiberglass Multi-Position Ladder, 375 lbs Load Capacity Type IAA Duty Rating is simply AMAZING! It is the king of ladders. It can go from about 6ft to 15ft, the ladder has the capacity to handle 375lbs and the quality is superb! The best ladder that I've seen thus far. You can put your tools in the ladder at top and in the middle of the ladder while you are Working. There is compartments for that, that way you don't have to keep going up and down the ladder. And to top it off, it's a pretty good looking ladder to boot. I highly recommend this ladder!

Gorilla Ladders’ FXT-15 is very stable, even without the typical hinged brace most stepladders have. All the rivets were tight, and there were larger rivets installed at the folding mechanism. The ladder is a little less solid when folded in its straight configuration. It has a 375 lb work rating. When not in use, the sturdy “project bucket” fits between the rungs. The ladder is quite heavy, at almost 32 lbs. If I was forced to make a complaint, it would be how I will hang this on my wall. It will require some bracket, instead of my usual ‘nails in a 1X4’ method. Unlike some of the other Gorilla ladders, this one appears to not be specified for use as a scaffold support, as the hinge mechanism cannot be removed and replaced with a fixed bracket. The FXT-15 has a limited lifetime warranty. I can see myself getting a lot of heavy-duty use from this ladder.

The Gorilla Ladders was designed for the handyman. It is sturdy enough for me to feel comfortable cleaning the first story rain gutters and windows. With its fiberglass construction I feel safe working on eight-foot ceiling electrical projects. The four-inch-deep utility bucket securely holds a gallon of paint and tools. Notches in the landing and with the bucket in place holds a paint roller pan. The bucket is detachable and stored between the ladder’s legs. The ladder opens easily to two settings by simply pressing the two spring loaded locking knobs. One is able to scale both sides of the ladder for that occasional additional reach. This is a well thought out tool.

Great ladder, easy to use and very sturdy.

This ladder is pretty intuitive to use. Set up is pretty quick and there are many configurations for steps, level surfaces, etc.

Best ladder I've ever had! The tray on top holds a gallon of paint and more. Why don't all ladders have this??! It is very easy to set up, and the wide distance between the legs gives great stability, even on uneven ground. This ladder makes painting and other chores a lot more enjoyable. 5 stars for sure!
