Q:Does anyone have issues with this 4 step ladder that makes creaking noise when climbing? Especially on the 3rd and 4th platform. The noise wasnt there during the first few uses but it seems to got worse in the past couple months. Just got it 6 months ago

Q:How high is the 3rd step of the 4.5ft ladder? I am 5’2 and need to reach a 9-foot ceiling. But I don’t want to stand on the very top (the black cap) since I won’t be near a wall.

Previously, I bought a GLHD-3T for $59 & 16.3LB, but it could reach only 2′ 5″(with a Person Height of 8′ 11″ Max), and my home had 10' height; hence, I bought this for $99.7 & 17.6 LB and Max Height 10' I can say this is a perfect sturdy product from Gorilla and there is no issue so far.

The best ladder I have ever used, period
This particular gorilla ladder has served me exceptionally well. For ceilings up to 10ft (I am 5ft 8) I use it for taping off, cutting in, spray painting, mechanical work, basically everything. The project bucket is an outstanding addition. IMPORTANT NOTE: some workman knocked the ladder over and broke my project bucket! I contacted gorilla and got a replacement at no cost!! Go gorilla!!!

Awesome ladder-heavy duty/deep storage trays and compact
Great Gorilla ladder that is sturdy,has a very useful project tray and folds up compact. Recently got the Gorilla extension ladder at the Home Depot Black Friday event and this is a perfect match for smaller jobs. It’s @ 5ft tall, made of fiberglass and is very well constructed with heavy duty steps,braces and footings. It also has a very handy deep project tray that slides and locks onto the top and even stores onto the ladder itself-great idea! There is a smaller but deeper than most pocket for screws,nails etc and holes to drop hammers,pliers etc. It’s def not lightweight but easy to carry and folds very flat and compact even with the removable tray. Overall a really good smaller ladder that will last forever and will easily become your ‘goto’ ladder. Would make an unexpected and thoughtful gift for a new homeowner,birthday or Father’s Day.

This Gorilla Ladders 5.5 ft. Fiberglass Dual Platform Step Ladder with Project Bucket (10 ft. Reach), 300 lbs. Capacity Type IA Duty Rating is by far the best folding ladder I have owned. Light weight but heavy duty. When climbing and standing on this ladder there is no give and no wobble. The top 2 steps are extra large steps and on most other ladders this steps are not for standing on but the Gorilla Ladder all steps can be stepped on. The removable bucket I thought would be pointless and that I would never use it but boy was I wrong. It’s placed in the Perfect position without getting in the way and it’s sized just right. When the bucket is stored away it also stays out of your way. Top tray can hold hammers and screw drivers. The 5.5ft height makes it perfect for all house projects short of having vaulted ceilings. It’s easy to fold and store with its compact size. My only con and Gorilla addresses it with stickers on the product is there is a pinch zone for your fingers when unfolding the ladder so please pay attention to that area. I would absolutely recommend this.
