The Prox 17 can spray non flammable oil based materials out of the box. If you would like to spray flammable oil based materials you'd need to purchase and install a lacquer conversion kit. If you have any additional questions please feel free to give us a call at 844-241-9499. Thank you, Graco Support Team
Hi ming, As long as you've stored the pump with pump armor in it you shouldn't have issues when you go to use the sprayer again. If you run into any issues please feel free to give us a call at 844-241-9499 so we can help troubleshoot. Thank you,
Hello Ogfarmerdan, You will need to contact the backpack sprayer manufacturer to confirm if it can be used. Thank you, Graco Technical Support
Hello, Yes, we do recommend flushing the pump armor out before using your sprayer. Thank you, Graco Technical Support
Clean it out with water. Same as you do when cleaning out the pump at the end of the day or job.
Then put water and wash it out
you just purge it thru as you prime the hose and gun assy. the pump saver fluid Is not an oil. it is a (non harmful) glycol base
It's water soluble, just hook your garden hose up to the intake hose and flush it out until the water comes out clean.
It can be use on a wagner airless sprayer
It will work for Wagoner’s sprayers
I’m sure it would, it works awesome in my Graco X7
You can use it with any sprayer>
I would say yes. if it sucks up and sprays paint it is a safe and useful product.
Goes on the inlet hose after you clean the system, place the pump armor bottle on the inlet hose set it in prime position let it run into you see the fluid coming out from the prime hose and turn it off disconnect the electrical cord, set it up into a spray position replace the inlet strainer and put a bag on the hoses for any dripping and use it every time to keep the system running like new it doesn't take alot of the fluid usually two ounces or less
Fill a can about 1/2 full have the sprayer draw it up
It is biodegradable, please use fresh every time

Thank you for your question on the 1 qt. Pump Armor Fluid. This should be used in the unit for any length of storage longer than 48 hours. If you have any further questions please reference 109568 and give us a call 844 241 9498 M - F 7:30am to 5:30pm CST. Thank you, Graco Technical Service Group
You can use it between uses if you really wanted to. It’s essentially just going to lube the pump and keep your gaskets and stuff in the best condition they can be in. So to answer your question Yes you can use it if the down time is so short as it won’t hurt anything and can only help prolong the life of the pump and gaskets.
I would at least every other time. It helps just like antifreeze does for your water pump in your car.
No, that shouldn’t be necessary for that short a time. But if you don’t use it for more than a few days, don’t forget to put some in.
KevinWinchester, I would flush and do a practice run with water. If it runs and holds the water, it will run and hold the paint. We really won't know what could need replacing until the unit is tested. Feel free to contact us at 844 241 9498 M - F 7:30am to 5:30pm CST. We'd be happy to assist you. Thank you, Graco Technical Service Group
I have used this pump fluid for many jobs! Hard jobs, done by hand jobs, jobs that blow! This pump fluid is slick and keeps the pumping lubed when doing the dirty stuff. Get your hands on this pump fluid and go to town! It will have you spraying in no time!!
You can use the cleaner in your sprayer
It would be a good idea to use the product after you paint, not sure if it will help using it before hand. a few days before you start your project I would put the hoses in a bucket of water and see that everything works properly before use, then if it does work properly, purge the water, use the pump armor before starting your painting project.
Always used this product for my paint sprayers. Good from cleaning to winterizing them. 10/10 recommended
