Does this product disinfect as well? If so, what is the ingredient used for the disinfectant aspect of the product?

No. Clean, seal, polish. I would do some research on using harsh disinfectants. But since granite is a stone, it should be fine. A mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water should do just fine. Any liquid detergent should work as well.

I used mine and it worked really well. A bottle does not last me but about a year since it should be used at least one time per month.

I properly cleaned and sealed our kitchen and bathroom granite counter tops, and then waited a day before applying this polish. After applying it, the surfaces feel very nice and smooth. However, as some other users described, there is an oily haze on the surface. It doesn't matter how much you buff it with a dry cloth, the oily surface haze just remains. You just get a different pattern trying to wipe it off, like you're painting with water paint that never dries. There is some kind of ingredient or chemical in this polish that doesn't wipe away. I will most likely purchase a different product next time around.

This does a really nice job to keep the surface shiny and protected, but make sure you properly rub/buff the product in. If you just spray and quickly wipe, you won't get as great of a result. Would definitely recommend.

Hazy, hazy, hazy after application and won't clear the haze on my granite after using entire roll of paper towels. And this was after using the Granite Gold Daily Cleaner and 2 applications of the Granite Gold Sealer and then waiting the 24 hours before using the polish! I won't be using this product again!!

The down side is strictly me - once the kitchen and bath are clean (Daily Cleaner), I forget that I can add value to my granite by using the Polish to reinforce the seal and provide additional protection.

It did not work well as I think the spots are deep and need professional refinishing. The product did work well at shining other areas of the granite.
