Product Overview

Easily maintain maximum surface protection against stains, etches and soil build-up on granite countertops and other natural-stone surfaces. Granite Gold Sealer, an easy-to-apply spray-and-wipe stone sealer, creates a barrier to protect granite, marble and all other natural stone. Regularly check the integrity of the seal with an at-home water test. Pour water (about 3 inches in diameter) on the surface in several locations and let it sit for 30 minutes. If you see a dark mark or ring, the water is penetrating the stone and it’s time to reseal.

The directions on the back say you can use it on granite, marble or any other natural stone. You can double check at their web site if you're not sure if your marble is natural or cultured.

I wash the granite with soap/water and then Granite Gold cleaner.. You want the granite really clean or you will seal in dirt. When the cleaner is completely dry I make a paid out of three or four layers of paper towel and spray a section of the granite with sealer. Once the pad is wet it will take very little additional product moving forward. A pad makes it easy to wipe the 4" backsplash and not get it all over. If you make a pad to distribute the sealer you get a move even distribution. You will also use less product. I rub the sealer in well; however, do NOT let it dry. Then buff with (circular motion) microfiber towel. One paper towel pad and 2-3 microfiber towels will do my entire house. The residue that is on the microfiber towel I put in the washer. The towels come out fine. I seal twice a year applying three coats with at least 2 hours between coats. You MUST wait 24 hours after the last coat before applying polish.

Don't know about all tiles, but I unintentionally sprayed it on some of the wall tile and backsplash. Did not discolor and just wiped it off.

Overall I don't really see a difference before or after use and am assuming it's sealing... I just follow instructions and use it every few months or so on our once piece marble farm house sink to keep it from staining. It's hard to do!

We did the sealing at the end, after putting the caulk. So far so good, it’s been 2 years and no issues. Hope that helps!

This product only seals the porous nature of the stone so that spills won't soak into the stone. It doesn't repair blemishes in the stone. I did notice that it makes scuff marks less noticeable, but has no effect on anything deeper.

Keeps my counters clean and shiny! My three kids give our counters a workout with projects, toys, bottles & a plethora of spills & accidents. I've been using the Granite gold products for awhile and it hits my three marks. 1.) Quick and easy to use 2.) Cleans, seals and protects 3.) Makes cleaning up the counters easy Application is simple. After you clean it, either with Granite Gold products or your own method, you spray it on and buff it dry. Since we're rough on our counters - we plan on doing it annually but really you should only need to apply when you need it.

Remarkable
This product is remarkable! I love how it seals and protects. There are no worries about stains or water marks. It left my bathroom counter so shiny I could actually see my reflection. The best thing I found while using this product is that it will make any surface look new. It is very east to use with no chemical odors. Also, it is safe to use on food-prep surfaces. I plan to continue using this product and recommending to all my family and friends.

We have two granite surfaces: an "L" that is 48" by 48" being 24" on each side; and 15' of counter space that is about 23" deep. There are a significant number of cavities if different length and depth in the surface. The largest is about 3/8" long; at most 1/32 inch deep; and jagged. There are hundreds of tiny cavities at about 1/10th inch long. I cleaned the surface before starting. It turns out I had a bottle of Granite Gold Cleaner already. I then began the sealing: I think I used too much liquid as the first wipe down removed a great deal of liquid. I followed the instructions on the bottle. I repeated this sealing process a second time the next day. I did a final pass on the third day. The tiny cavities were mostly gone. The test method was to see if my fingernail would enter the crack. The large cavities seemed to have significantly less depth, but where still there. I would expect more improvement with each coat. I also discovered another Granite Gold product that is a polish for granite. I did not try this last item. Coats were not difficult to apply but you needed a lint free material for wiping things down. I had bed sheet rags to use.. The mica in the granite seemed to have a different sheen after drying. Wife liked the final result. Pictures were hard to take due to insufficient lighting Hard to see the cavities. Had no annoying smell.

This liquid granite sealer is easy to use which makes this chore go quickly. Just follow the bottle directions. You can purchase the Granite Gold cleaner or clean your surface with soap and water. Dry and then spray the sealer in areas that you can reach. Don't spray the entire counter because it will get cloudy if you let it dry too long. Use a lint free cloth to wipe and it's quickly sealed. My counter has a "leather" style rather than shiny finish and it worked well on it. It just takes a few minutes and you've protected your granite counter.

Following the steps on the bottle of sealer, I first cleaned the surface with Daily Granite Gold Cleaner, then followed with the sealer. First of all, the instructions on the spray bottle are very easy to read without needing a magnifying glass. This is much appreciated. Clear, legible easy to read and understand directions. Once the sealer was applied as instructed, the surface repels everything! There is little more else to say except this is awesome and better yet - environmentally and human friendly. I cannot imagine the surface after applying the Granite Gold Polish!!! It looks stunning already just after the sealer.

This is a high quality stone sealer. The directions state that you are supposed to use their cleaner first and then follow up with the stone sealer. I followed those directions so I bought the cleaner and used it first. This worked very well on both my granite tile in the kitchen and my granite slab in the bathroom. The other important direction to follow that is stressed is on the back of the bottle. It states that users should use it on a small area and immediately wipe it off to avoid it "hazing". I followed that direction, did a small area at a time and did not have any problems. This is a nice product that's easy to use to keep your stone counters, etc. looking great. I hope you find this info helpful.

I have tried the Granite Gold wipes and now after using the Spray and wipe, I must admit I love the spray better. I wanted to compare which might tackle our backyard granite BBQ cooktop. While the wipes are great for my indoor granite counter tops, the spray worked the best on the outdoor granite area. The shine is outstanding. I will be going back to purchase the Granite Gold protector.

Amazing product, works great. The first area I used this on was in my master bathroom sink. It was starting to be a bit dull and the water did not bead up anymore. Not sure it will come out In the pictures or not. The house is about three years old and this is the first time using any type of sealer. The first thing I did was wipe down the area with just water and a sponge. Dried it with a towel. Sprayed this on and wiped it up with a microfiber cloth. Great results in minutes. Hope the pictures do this justice. Knowing the iPhone camera probably not. Anyway, great product highly recommend it. I also use the cleaner from the same company. I am quickly becoming a fan of these products.

Because we have some small chips on our granite counter top around the sink we wanted to seal them to prevent water or stains occurring in the future. This Liquid water based Sealer was easy to use since all you had to do was spray and wipe it in the area where the damage had been done. .I wiped off the flat surface with a lint free cloth to keep it from having a hazy look. Also where some of it dripped into the stainless sink I was able to wipe if off easily since it is water based. I gave it two treatments as recommended on the bottle instructions and it looks great. .
