A: 5 ozs or 0.30 lbs or 142 grams.
A: about half a pound or less. about the size of a pack of cigarettes.
A: No this is not a solar charger, its the partial name of Grape Solar.
A: No you are mistaken this power bank charges via a USB cord from a USB port from various sources only.
A: I use it with a Grape Solar GoCharger 7.5 portable solar panel. It took several hours in strong direct sunlight to fully recharge the Stone battery pack.
A: This is a lithium-ion battery, and has no solar charging component. However, it can be charged by solar panels that have USB output.
A: It charges from any USB power source and it comes with a USB cable. So if you have a USB power source for your phone, or a tablet, iPad etc. or in your car with a USB cigarette plug you can use that or a computer to. It really does come in handy and I keep mine charged in my car.
A: Probably not. The same cord that it comes with to connect to your phone you just flip around and plug it into a USB port to charge the battery pack. You could plug it into your computer or the AC USB adapter plug from your phone charger.
A: The quick way is with a USB power transformer cord and AC. Solar if you have time, using a solar panel.
A: The original version of the Stone came with an AC adapter but we removed it to reduce the price since everyone with a cell phone probably already has a couple adapters laying around. You can charge the Stone from anything with a USB port. This includes the AC adapters that come with smart phones, your computer, modern cars, etc.
A: I had the same thoughts until my teen looked at it and said Dad your silly just plug it in! You don't have to buy anything! Use the cord supplied and move over to smaller port on unit with the other end plugged into your computer or UBS charging plug in you car.
