I have a countertop popcorn machine that I use quite frequently. I love enjoying popcorn as a light snack, a treat during movies, and eating just because it's popcorn and it tastes good. I haven't popped a back of microwave popcorn in years. Making popcorn with a machine or on the stove gives you much better results and you can't beat the freshness. I thought I had it all figured out. I would measure out the oil, add a specific amount of butter salt, and measure out the kernels.
My whole popcorn world has been turned upside down in a good way since I discovered the Great Northern Popcorn Company all-in-one premium popcorn packs. This really is all-in-one! All you need is a pair of scissors and you are on your way to some of the best popcorn you will ever have. Everything is pre-measured and included in these really cool packs. I love how the pouch of popcorn has three separate compartments: one for the buttery popcorn coconut oil, one for the perfect amount of popcorn butter salt, and one for the popcorn kernels.
All you have to do is cut open the pouch along the top and put everything into the pot. Within minutes you have great popcorn. One really great thing that reveals how superior the popcorn is, is that there are very few unpopped kernels. Some poor quality kernels don't pop very well and it seems like you have a quarter of unpopped popcorn. Not so with the Great Northern popcorn. There are only a few unpopped kernels, so you get a ton of popcorn per pouch.
The package has easy to follow instructions for multiple types of popcorn poppers. If you are ready to say goodbye to microwave popcorn and enjoy a high quality replacement, this is the product for you!

I came across Great Northern 8 oz. All-in-One Premium Popcorn (40-Pack) and the first thing that came to mind was me as a kid making a similar type of popcorn on the stove on the weekend. The packet contains individual premeasured oil, butter flavored salt and 8oz. of premium popcorn. I like the fact that the salt packet is separate if you are watching you sodium intake you can add just the amount you want or not at all. I used a 8qt. pot to make it as 8oz. makes allot of popcorn. Just squeeze the oil in the pot and within minutes you will have a pot full of delicious movie theater style popcorn for a little over a buck. As far as the taste, it's not even a comparison compared to that microwave garbage that leaves an aftertaste in your mouth. I highly recommend this for all popcorn lovers.

YUM! YUM! YUM! I can only speak to using this popcorn in a stove top method and there were absolutely no kernels unpopped. I have a gas stove with a large burner and that really helps getting even distribution of heat but I feel it would do well using any kind. It is important to have a relatively thick heavy bottom or cast iron stew pot. You can see in my picture that the pot was completely filled.
The package itself is very clear, giving other methods of making popcorn, including air popper, electric, and commercial machine .

The 8 oz. All-in-One Premium Popcorn (40-Pack) is just plain great tasting popcorn. It is very convenient in that everything you need is in the single pack. That is coconut oil, popcorn and a buttery salt seasoning. The presentation is excellent with a yellow butter color. Yet it isn't overly buttery. I prepared mine in a 6 quart stock pot on my gas range top. A couple of things to consider. First, most of the buttery seasoning was left on the bottom of the pot after popping. Even so, the popcorn tastes great. In fact, it tastes better than the popcorn in any theater in my area which is probably due to higher quality and freshness. The other is that the oil is coconut oil. That means it is high in saturated fats. I generally use olive oil in cooking which is low in saturated fats. Nonetheless, for the occasional bag of popcorn I believe it is just fine and helps make the great taste. The popped popcorn also keeps well in a zip-lock. Home Depot's price is lower than almost anywhere which make is an excelling value.

great, easy to use popcorn that tastes great. this is designed for the larger professional machines but it also works great with my Whirley Pop. I get two 4 Quart batches in my Whirley Pop per package. Just divide everything in half. You can save half for later if you would like.
Popcorn is a good combination of crunchy and fluffy. The butter flavored salt is better and fresher than the larger containers that go stale before you can use half the container.
Each package contains the following. I cut in half for home use
8 ounces of unpopped corn
1.75 teaspoons of butter flavored salt
4 tablespoons of oil.

Popcorn is perfect for a Great Northern Popcorn machine 8 ounce kettle size. We have the popcorn popper that uses these packages which are zero trans fat and totally pre-measured. The taste is EXCELLENT. The popcorn pops perfectly and is very fun to watch for all ages.
This popcorn is delicious and is very similar to the movie theater style. The packages are convenient to use and include coconut oil and butter flavored salt. Great to have a 40 count box delivered to the house, as it is about 25 pounds to carry. We love using our machine and this popcorn for weekly movie nights at our home.
I can't wait to have a popcorn party.
