For high quality, durability, and ease of maintenance, choose Royal Carpet Blue Velour Plush 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 5/8 in. Interlocking Carpet Tiles (25 tiles per Case). These tiles are durable, waterproof and easy to maintain. The interlocking tiles provide cushion, adding comfort to hard, cold floors. Custom flooring designs can be created with the variety of color options available. For a lightweight, easy to install carpeting, Royal Interlocking Carpet Tile is an excellent choice. These tiles do not require adhesive or pads for installation. The carpet bonded EVA foam material is thick and soft making our Royal Interlocking Carpet Tiles a great option for basement floors, kids rooms, game rooms and trade show booths. Each tile includes two border strips. For home or office, the Royal Carpet Interlocking Tiles can add warmth and comfort to any space. These stain-resistant carpet tiles feature a 1/2 inch thick foam pad that is designed to provide anti-fatigue benefits. These tiles are also strong enough to last under tables and chairs, and high traffic areas. Easy to install, simply interlock the tiles together. These tiles can be cut to fit with a sharp utility knife. Since adhesive is not required, your Royal Carpet Tiles are easy to remove to relocate. Each case of 25 tiles will cover 96.8 square feet. Please note: Shade and color may vary from tile to tile within the same order and/or batch of tiles. This is common with this type of interlocking carpet tile.

Thank you for your inquiry. Heavy exercise equipment could leave indentations in the foam base of the Royal Carpet Tiles. One option is to place a second layer of tiles under just the equipment. My basement is dry. So I wouldn’t know how it would respond to damp concrete. The foam backing may provide somewhat of a barrier. Perhaps a dehumidifier would help?

Great solution
I'm thrilled with the carpet tiles. After a basement flood, I needed an affordable flooring option that could handle whatever came its way, including my multiple pets. The finished portion of the lower level looks great and is easy to clean. The interlocking tiles are visible but not overwhelming or problematic. Now it feels like a complete living space and the extra tiles will keep it looking great for the foreseeable future. Contractor installed 2 full boxes in less than half a day. Thank you!

Excellent addition to the home gym. Installed in basement....
Excellent addition to the home gym. Installed in basement. Easy to install. (Note: you will need to cut off one of the fingers on some of the squares. I used a razor knife and it was quite easy.) We have a treadmill, Bowflex stepper, weight bench and more on the the tiles. Also great for floor exercises. I put a yoga mat down when doing core work and the tiles provide a nice barrier to the concrete basement floor. Could not be more pleased with the result.

Good value. Very easy to install with a straight edge and utility knife at the walls. Spent a little extra time flushing out the seams and it looks pretty good. Good amount of cushioning. It's good to know it can get removed or replaced as necessary. Some of the tiles varied in color tone slightly, but it's not noticeable with furniture and stuff. Perfect for my new basement room.
