1 Gal Fruit Fly Killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some fruit flies around the sink area. putting this liquid in a fruitfly container the flies were reduced significantly. it does the magic immediatly its poured in a container. it also works when poured in the drain, so it kills the flies right at the source.

It did not have any affect when I just poured it in the drains. It did reduce the bugs when I brushed out the garbage disposal with it on the end of the brush.

We had an annoying amount of drain flies, about six a day in the hall 1/2 bath, others randomly about the house. We cleaned all the drains in all the bathrooms, kitchen, and showers, poured very hot water down, yet they were there. My husband disassembled the drain in the 1/2 bath( put water glasses over the drains at night, in the am you'll see which drains the flies are coming from when trapped in the glass) and thoroughly cleaned, yet drain flies. I bought this and figured can't hurt. I used 1 Cup every day for five days and reduced the flies to 1-3, I even put some in the over flow hole in case the problem was there. Then they were gone for a few days and then 3-4 were back so I'm back to using 1/2 Cup a day, so I don't run out. I use in the evening when drain in not used until 7:00 am. hoping this will end the issue. These are pests, I never had in 22 years being here. No food goes down that drain, just hand soap. Don't understand how I got them. I feel the issue is very much improved. Options I read, use hot water, vinegar and baking soda and dish soap mixture, sound good but by the time you purchase the volumes to solve the issue and not know if it will work.....it's way more expensive then this ready made product. I am very hopeful. Smells fresh, non offensive. I would recommend. Be consistent.
