AnswersYes, but you need to scoop out water to bring it to a normal level. Get a bucket, and a smaller bucket. Pour in the powder and wait at least an hour and half. You should notice the water level go down, that should mean that the clog has loosened enough. Add the hot water to back to normal level and flush. You will probably need to use a plunger to get the full clog if really bad.

first impression, then add HOT WATER
I used it according to the directions, and I was disappointed with the results - BUT the directions also suggest pouring HOT Water in the bowl and IT WORKS PERFECTLY. NO MESS! So much better than a plunger!
And I compared the price all over the 'net and Home Depot has the best price.
