These photos tell the story. This seed did exactly what LebSea promised it would do. Came in at 10 days, it enjoyed about 2 weeks of rain and I was finally able to give it the first cut at 4 weeks after it dried. I have been using their products for 20 years and remain a happy customer.

This grass sprouts quickly and evenly. I hope it continues to do as well as it has already!! We used a compost starter and watered for 18 minutes 3x/day because we planted in mid July. So far all looks GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put this one for my dead front yard. We spread on early Spring and watering every other evening. We also put fertilizer to help them grown. The only minus is the bag is not big enough, you gonna need a ton of bags to covering up the whole yard so we plan to order some more!

It was easy to apply to the roughed up areas of ground. As you can see, there are bare patches throughout our yard and they are now awaiting growth again!

Have used this Seed brand before only difference is I bought the Dense shade mixture and it worked and grew great for my yard where I had a spot on north side of house that only got about 4.5 hours of very little sunlight this Brand grew to a thick lush green lawn in that area , Awesome Grass seed Thank you Greenview

I used this as wel as their lawn starter with it. Plenty of water and fertilizer and every single bit of it is dead and only broad leaf and crab grass exists in its place

I bought this hoping it would come up fast and it did.. I planted and mulched and as it turned out we had a pretty good soaking rain the same night and within 4 days I had grass. I did lime first and put down Lesco 18-24-12 Professional Starter Fertilizer also but this grass shot up quick.

Greenview brand Fairway Formula grass seed is designed to thrive in sunny locations. Seed is a variety that is suitable for any lawn in sun or shade conditions. The seed mix includes ryegrass which germinates fairly quickly and establishes a lawn in 2-3 weeks. The grass is dark green in color, with a medium fine consistency. This 7 pound bad will cover 1750 sq ft for a new lawn or 3500 sq ft for reseeding. There are no coatings or fillers with the seed. The seed blend is about 63 percent Perennial ryegrass, 25 percent Kentucky bluegrass, and 10 percent tall fescue, with an average germination rate of about 90 percent. As with any new seed, best results will occur when used in combination with a seed starter fertilizer and ample supply of water. I used a small test patch, sprinkled seed, did not mulch or cover, and watered a few times a day. A couple of days were without water – not an ideal condition, but after 10 days grass has begun to sprout and thicken

Out of the bag this looks to be a high quality grass seed. I did not notice any significant filler. The pictures show the progression of growth after about two weeks. We did have a heavy rain early on which may have washed away some of the seed. I anticipate the spot filling in quite nicely and will use the seed on other patchy areas of my lawn. I will also use it for some over seeding.

My front side yard gets BEAT up with the sun, so it's important to me to find a grass seed made for sunny locations. In the past, I've had trouble doing that as many seed products state "sunny" but can actually be used in a variety of sun level locations, resulting in not such great grass. This seed is specifically for "Sunny" locations and thus far it's proving to be effective for that area. Granted, I have only started growing it in that sunny location in a test area. I did this to be sure it does well there before I committed it to the whole location. I had pine trees taken out in this area of my yard and need to replant that entire yard portion. As you can see from the pictures I've provided, the grass is germinating nicely, looking very healthy without a lot of effort on my part. To test the seed, I put down a small amount of garden soil, sprinkled the seed on top, put a bit more soil very lightly over the seed and tried to be diligent about watering (hence my comment about "without a lot of effort"). I did water the seed at least once a day but felt I should be doing it twice a day due to the "sunny" location. In spite of my lack of consistent watering diligence the seed began to germinate in 4 days! The picture I have of the grass germinating shows it after 6 days. Do not be confused by the taller grass in the picture-that's existing grass coming up. But you can defintely see the germinating grass in the picture. Also, don't be put off by the spots where there is no germination. We had a heavy rain one night and some of the seed and dirt washed down over my wall. The bag claims this seed to be "uncoated". I didn't know what that meant until I read through the bag. In effect it means you get more seed per pound as compared to coated seed.
