Asked by Speedster March 2, 2021

Hello Speedster, The actual run time each user receives will vary depending on the load acting against the unit. On average a 6ah battery will provided up to 50-60 mins runtime. Currently, 7.5Ah battery is not available. A typical gas-powered mower operates at about 95-100dB (decibels). An electric mower operates at about 80dB. Box dimensions approx. 88.5cm x 57cm x 43.5cm.

Best Lawn Mower Outstanding !!!
I want to say this the best ever, no more gas, load engines . I wish everyone had one cuts great and is so easy to use. My joke with my neighbors is "you know what l have too do to winterize my lawn mower?--- WAX IT !! lol Really the cut, the batteries, the ease of operation is unmatched by those gas machines. Already two of my neighbors bought one. I love the handle and controls. The smart cut technology works great the engine knows when there is load and speeds up, no load engine slows down.Well worth the money do it you'll love it.

Worth buying
It's quiet, cuts regular grass great. As advertised, thick grass stalls the motor but my gas mower chokes on that stuff too. The handle angles up higher than my gas mower so I have to get used to maneuvering around differently but no problem. I hope it lasts for many years.
Awesome mower cuts thru 3 foot high weeds
I have had this mower for over a year. I love it. I am a 63yr old female and I use it to cut all my lawns on my one acre property in North Carolina. There are hilly and bumpy areas. I have mowed large woody weeds up to 3 feet high. I have two batteries to finish the job. The self propelled feature is great. 10 stars.

Great replacement for a gas mower
I needed to replace a conventional self propelled mower and didn't want to buy another gas powered lawn tool. I bought this in June and have been using it every week all summer. I have a lawn that's mostly hills, so I needed the self propelled version. It works so well that I can push it most of the time. I only use the self propelled feature part of the time. I get through my average sized suburban lawn on one battery and still have juice left! I love how it folds up in my shed giving me extra room too. My first Greenworks tool was the 60v blower. I liked that so much that I bought the trimmer next. Now since I'm so happy with the mower, I've got the chainsaw and dethatcher on my wish list! Just a great tool family!

Great for a larger yard
Been using for over a month and the dual port 60v 5ah batteries keep this mower plowing through thick KBG grass without hesitation and can mow the 15,000 square foot lawn with plenty of charge left in the second battery. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy to assemble, use AND works great!
My wife and I purchased the greenworks, 60V self-propelled, 21" lawn mower a few months ago to replace an aging gas mower. WOW! What a joy and delight to use this mower! What assembly was required was VERY minimal, easy and fast to accomplished. This lawn mower is a joy to use because you don't have to check the oil level or fill it up with gas just make sure the battery is charged up and installed and you are ready to go! Plus you don't have to be concerned with the spark plug being in good shape or an air cleaner being cleaned or replaced. It is a delight to use because it is VERY easy to start! Just hold down the lever that turns on the power to the lawn mower and then push the start switch button and then start pushing! On the gas mower we HAD, I would have to prime the mower with gas and then it took anywhere from 3 to 5 pulls of the cord to get the mower started. The mower is VERY quite. I was talking with one of my neighbors and they mentioned they want to get an electric lawn mower now because our mower was so quiet! One other thing I noticed was it cuts the grass so evenly! I can't remember ever in my life time (50+ years) of seeing grass that looks so evenly cut! Could be the blades I used over the years where not sharp as they could have been. We don't have that big of a yard ( <.25 acres) but to get the lawn mower out of storage, put the battery in it, attached the grass catcher, start the lawn mower, cut the grass, remove the grass catcher, empty the grass catcher, remove the battery, put the battery in the charger, and stow the lawn mower away until the next time take me about 15-20 minutes! There are four other really nice features the lawn mower has that I have not mention here but you can go online to discovers those. I highly recommend this lawn mower to anyone who does not have a big yard to mow(> half an acre), does not want to spend a lot of time and effort to get the mower started, or worry about having enough gas or oil on hand for the mower.

I love this mower!!!
I love this mower. It is quiet and doesn't use gas! The self-propelled works great and I can maneuver this mower easily because it weighs 71 pounds. I use the mulching feature and have the deck height set high because I don't want to bag or water my lawn... and my lawn looks great after mowing with the 21". Love it!!!
Overall Satisfied
Overall, I am satisfied with the way this cuts my grass. However, mine has a slight fitment issue. See attached. The right pin that holds the lawnmower arm does not go through the hole enough to hold the lawnmower arm securely.

Great mower and tool platform
This is a great mower. Replaces a 12 year old gas powered self propelled model. Only cutting on a 6,000 sq ft lot, maybe 1,500-1,800 sq ft of grass. Based on usage, could easily get 2 full cuts out of the battery. Waited 2 weeks to mow so even the slow growing grass here in the northeast this season was patchy with some tall sections. Set to setting 3, mulched (front yard) and bagged (back yard) nicely cutting the grass into small pieces. Sucked up just as many leaves and maple seeds (more falling now so will hopefully update review shortly) as the old gas model, along with all grass. Turbo mode is nice if you want to force it up to the full RPMs but in regular practice it senses the thicker grass/leaves/etc quickly, within a few feet, and ramps up to full power and stays on for a bit so it doesn't vary RPMs constantly. I believe it just changes between 2 RPMs, 3,200 RPMs is listed as max on the box. It is a nice feature that no one else has and will be useful in the fall cleanup season. Self propel works well. It has a good range of speed from slow to fast and satisfies my fast pace as a 6'4" person. The best part is that you can mash the throttle and it won't necessarily dig your grass up because the speed ramps up from slow to fast. It takes a little getting used to but it works well so you don't accidentally dig up areas that you consistently turn on week after week. You can hold down both propel handles but you only need one at a time. I found myself pushing it in a lot of cases because it rolls easily. It does suffer from the same issue a lot of self propel mowers do where if you don't stop using the power and run into an object and you now need to roll back, the wheels lock up. I found it real easy to avoid by lifting off just a step early and other times it didn't lock up at all. For me this is not a negative, I noticed the same when using a competitor in store. Compared to the other battery powered mowers I was looking at, I prefer the rigidity and looks of the steel deck. The likely small weight penalty does not hurt it in practical use and will likely help when it gets kicked around and stepped on in the garage. The handle is simple to adjust and has less plastic vs the competition which should result in less damaged components. The handle is also more rigidly connected to the deck so there isn't as much slop compared to others I have used, this is a solid mower. The deck height adjustment is superior to any other I have tried. Other mowers you need to hold the mower down and you see the deck flex a bit. Not this one. You can reach down and adjust with one hand, no flex from the steel deck and you can practically lift it with one finger. As for using any lightweight mower, make sure the front end doesn't bounce around too much or else you will end up with a poor cut. That being said, this unit is pretty easy to control and keep against the grass in moderately bumpy conditions and I didn't see any consistent deficiencies while mowing, meaning it didn't leave behind any strips of grass uncut and the cut was even across the lawn. That is where even a little more weight, placed a little forward, actually helps. It easily adjusts to fit short to tall, slow or fast. As much as I like it, I think I enjoy the new 60V string trimmer even more. That is easy to use and has excellent speed modulation that the competition can't match, especially at low speeds. I have an older 40V Greenworks hedge trimmer that keeps working great and while I did have an issue with the 40V blower that was 3 years old, Greenworks support was easy to reach by phone and they replaced the whole unit under warranty. That commitment is what brought me back to looking at battery mowers and specifically to this model over the competition.

Great quality
I was skeptical about battery operated lawn mower but Greenworks does make good quality products. I bought 60v self propelled. Out of box took me 5min to set up. Fully charge battery lasts me more than hr of mowing with half used as self propelled. No issues so far!
