Questions & Answers

Can you install without the legs? We would like to install a cabinet underneath it

Asked by: Toocoolforschool
Well, I suppose you could, but it won't be elegant. Remember that you have a drain under the sink as well as the inlet faucets (depending where they come through the wall). The back of your cabinet will have to be open. The drain will take up some of the space in the cabinet. Also notice that there are 3 inch long sockets at each corner that the legs fit into. Your cabinet will have to fit inside those or drill big holes in the top of the cabinet to accommodate. Doubt that cutting them off is an option. I would not try it. Also note that finding a deck mounted faucet for these sinks is a challenge. At the time I installed mine, HD did not carry the appropriate faucets. I had to buy mine at another vendor only to find they do not include the shanks necessary for installation. Had a devil of a time installing. A friend kindly made the shanks. Now that i worked through all the issues, the sink is great. Good luck.

Help! I can't find a faucet that would fit?? 2 hole, bridge. I can't figure out which faucet is in the photo and have little plumbing experience to find one that will work with this sink
Asked by: Margie
Margie: I bought a T&S Brass Deck MIxing Faucet Swing model from Home Depot online. I think the Store SKU is #1000794930 and the Internet number is #100415109. The below link should get you there. It will work great once you install it. What I like about the faucet is it is full force water and the fastest in my home. It isn't throttled down to 2.5 gpm. https://www.homedepot.com/p/T-S-Brass-Deck-Mixing-Faucet-Swing-Nozzle-B-0221/100415109 You will need to buy a hot and cold threaded flexible hose which are easy to find and the longer the better. The problem you will have is that most faucets don't come with threaded nuts to secure it to the sink. I think this will be true with most everything you buy though. You will need something to secure the faucet to the base and a good plumbing warehouse or local plumber will be able to figure it out. I actually think I used two one inch threaded electrical rings (I forgot if the faucet plumbing was tapered or a straight thread). Hope that helps!

It is well made- solid construction and very sturdy. The adjustable legs help if your floors or tiles are a bit uneven. It looks great too! So far it is keeping clean. No regrets even though it was a bit pricey.

Unfortunately, you have to buy the installation kit separately and there are a limited number of suppliers (Home Depot isn’t one). Had to call the manufacturer to figure that out. Why you wouldn’t provide that with the product is a mystery to me. Hence 3 stars.

I’ve even tried adjusting the feet (levelers) but I always have just a little water in the bottom. I don’t believe the bottom of the sink is adequately sloped when it was built.

The quality is excellent and my question to the manufacturer was promptly answered. It is a big improvement over the awful plastic sink I replaced. The sink is nice and deep. I did splurge on a T & S Brass quality faucet that I purchased from a plumbing supply store. I added a hose adapter so I can wash my car and also water the plants I move inside for the winter. It The sink is in my not so beautiful basement between the hot water heater and washer. The wall could be repainted and the laundry pump below is pretty ugly, too. I might try to spruce the area up, but the improved functionality is great. I am very happy.

We were looking to upgrade to stainless but it's nearly impossible to find one in this more compact size with style and function. We haven't used it yet, but we are very impressed with its sleek look and sturdiness. This is the utility sink you want if you are fixing up your garage and want something beautiful yet functional. It has a deceptively large and deep sink. Adjustable legs make it perfect for our diamond garage floor. We are upgrading the faucet to a beautiful tall kitchen-style Moen with a detachable sprayer--the two-hole design allows for that. This is nice enough to put anywhere guests can see it. Don't store stuff underneath it, though--detracts from the look. We installed a cabinet to store cleaning stuff. If Home Depot carried this unit in the store, they would sell out on a regular basis. Having to special order sight-unseen was a little nerve-wracking, but we hit the jackpot. Expensive but worth it. In fact, we bought a second one for a utility room.
