A: These Grip-Rite nails are used when installing metal or fiberglass roofing.
A: I do not believe so. The nails I purchased came in a one pound box. These nails are used for Spanish ceramic roof tiles that are driven in one at a time.

A: Greetings Bob, I do not see why you cannot use these nails on vinyl siding. I like them because of their rink shank. The 1-3/4 gives them plenty of bite. I use them to secure Jame Hardi Board to our home because of the high winds. I predrill every hole about two sizes under and remove the rubber seal before I install the nails. Hope this helps.
