I need to shingle a 24 x 18' shed roof. How many nails do I need if I use the Owens Corning 3 tab metric asphalt shingles? Also is this the right nail to use to secure felt under layment tar paper under the shingles?
Asked by: alana
You need at least a 5# box for your shed project. The felt paper can be held in place with staples, and the shingles will secure the paper when they are nailed on the roof.
