A: A one pound box of 3d 1 1/4" bright finish nails will hold hundreds of nails. Any regular size hammer will do, and you will need a nail set to drive the head just under the surface of the wood.
A: Hi Trimcheck, there are approximately 880 nails per 1 pound pack. You can use a regular hammer, however you will want to use a nail punch or setting punch to set the nail head below the trim surface. You then cover the nail head with putty or Spackle and paint.
