Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK product - a few hassles I bought two cartons of these spikes for assembling used railroad ties into raised planter beds. The spikes are packed in cardboard boxes bound with plastic strapping. Cut the strapping and the box falls apart so buy a bucket unless you plan to use all the spikes in one session. The spikes themselves are a little soft and will bend if not struck squarely. Generous pilot holes helped as well as soap on the shanks. Takes a little practice to drive them cleanly but it can be done. Considering the spikes are galvanized and cost about $1.25 per pound, these are a good value if you can handle these few quirks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Possibly best cost/benefit tent stake ever We use these as tent stakes in challenging environments. This plus a 3/8 fender washer will hold down what you need to hold down. They cost less than basically any other heavy tent stake.
