These screws have worked very well for various projects. I have been very happy with this purchase. I have not had any issues getting the phillips head to fit these. They bite good and drive nicely. These have met my expectations and I haven't found anything that I dislike about them.

The screw head (Phillips cross) held up well to the force of the driver bit by not tearing up the slots/cross when driving the screw in with a rechargeable hand drill. The screw tip penetrated well and bit into the wood quickly.

Avoid at all costs, unless you do not mind only using about 40% or less of the box, and can handle getting a tad stressed from a philips #2 bit not fitting in. The issue is that the coating covers parts of the head of the screw. Two thumbs down, buy something else.
