These screws are less than adequate for most applications with the exception of attaching two pieces of drywall or Styrofoam together. I used them to secure 3/8 inch plywood to project and about 40 to 50% of the screw heads snapped off. These are poor quality screws.

I like Phillips head screws. These being coarse thread really stay put in the wood.
