I wouldn't recommend for outdoor use, they're drywall screws, may hold up for a couple years but probably start rusting through after that. Unless you live in the desert than they may hold up.
I measured about 5/16” for the head diameter.
Working for a medical device manufacturer that uses none of the Prop 65 substances in our devices... we still put a link to the Prop 65 warning on our website, just to help prevent against opportunistic attorneys / law firms who may file suit just because we didn't show the warning. I've worked in the pharma / medical device industry for over 35 years, and Prop 65 is the most ridiculous thing to come along. I'm guessing GripRite / Home Depot show that warning for the same reason.
Perhaps standards for this product have been lowered.
