AnswersThese will work good for attaching hinge between garage and living area. I would use only exterior quality screws into door jamb from garage to side yard as the utility grade will rust.

These are good general purpose screws for interior applications only....
These are good general purpose screws for interior applications only. Occasionally the heads will strip if your drill isnt nicely lined up with the screw or if you hit a knot in the wood. Predrilling the wood helps a lot with that issue. I keep a selection of these handy at home for when the need arises.
