Garbage
Like the other reviewers commented, these strip out AT LEAST 50% of the time. The T-20 star head cannot handle any torque. I even drilled pilot holes, still stripped out. Some I was able to finish in, or back out, with a hex bit, but had to take out a bunch with vice grips. These are junk! Do yourself a favor and avoid!

These are just terrible. I was using these to put composite trim boards on and ran into a bunch of issues. They take forever to drive. Every screw mushroomed the head of the composite board. Made everything look pretty bad. I'm not usually one to complain about this stuff, but it happened with every since one.

      Heads strip out
I've given these screws a number of chances over the past few years, and have been disappointed every time. It doesn't matter how good your T20 bit is, the drive will strip out half of the time. If you are going to use them, definitely pre drill with a countersink bit that is just barely smaller than the diameter of the screw.

        Not a good screw.
As other reviewers stated the head of the screw where the bit goes strips out as soon as the screw starts to enter the joist where the most resistance is occurring I had 4 out of 8 strip before going completely into the deck board requiring me to use vise grip pliers to back out the damaged screws I was lucky to get them out. I really wanted them to work cause the screw head color blends perfectly with my composite boards But they are going back to HD.

great screws, the head is small and hides in brown composite.
I predrill each hole, apply pressure the screw, and the star drive strips before the screw. Very small headed screws, look great. If you do not apply a reasonable amount of pressure, the drive will strip. Apply pressure and they work great.
