I don't know about 122, but 100 here in Florida did not bother it. Though I might put a shade over it if it would be in direct sun. It works great. I put one at each driveway. Squirrels and birds and raccoons can set it off, but I have a Ring camera close to the house, so can look out the window or look at the camera on my phone to be sure.
Mine is close to two years old on the original batteries. I keep waiting for it to fail, but it hasn't. Goes off with every UPS delivery, etc.
It's just a motion detector. Walk through the beam and it triggers the alarm (door bell sound). I don't know how it would know about a door unless it was in process of opening or closing. But you can buy door alarms elsewhere.
It's a motion detector like the ones in flood lights. It has a fairly narrow beam but you can remove a guard and it will have a broader or wider beam. Mounting it high should be fine.
Yes. Very well. Not effected by light. One night at about 3:00 AM, ours kept going off multiple times in short sucession. Got a light to investigate the sensor. A herd of deer was walking in front of it feeding.
Yes, if you set the two you want off to night time. Otherwise, you may need a second base for the two you wish to turn off and that is a simple switch on the base
Yes anything that blocks the device will interfere
Mine has been on a tree beside the driveway for about a year, though I plan to replace the batteries soon.
