King of the Garden Pole Lima Bean is a vigorous, upright, vine-type variety that does not need staking. The pods are the largest of all lima bean pods, about 4 in. L to 6 in. L, with cream colored seeds. The plants are strong and productive, setting pods from the very bottom of the vine and bearing until frost if they are continuously picked. Expect high yields, about 25 lbs. to 30 lbs. shelled per 100 ft. row.

so disappointed. very poor germination rate. 6 out of 37....
so disappointed. very poor germination rate. 6 out of 37. replanted 31,but only 2 germinated. i am an accomplished gardener of over 40 years experience. the rest of my 1,600 sq. ft. garden is excelling. i used burpee "king of the garden"seeds last year and had a bumper crop. i think these seeds were old or not properly managed by gurney's. very sad...........
