Live.Love.Clean. 10.83 in. W Bamboo Household Broom for Dry Dirt, Pet Hair and Other Small Debris

So this Harper Live.Love.Clean bamboo broom (made by Ames) is such an upgrade from the old plastic handle brooms. The broom is very sturdy and strong, but also lightweight and very easy to use. The bristles are soft and really clean small particles, dust, cat hair, etc. very well. The handle is very comfortable and long (46") and has a rope to hang for storage. This is a high quality broom and very practical.

I can’t tell you the last time I bought a broom. Our old one is a classic yellow plastic broom that is probably doing more harm than good. The Harper Live.Love.Clean. 10.83 in. W Bamboo Household Broom is a nice upgrade. The broom itself is extremely sturdy. I wasn’t sure about the non-angle bristle design but I find it catches more than crappy nylon bristles. Happy I went with this one!

This bamboo broom was the perfect replacement for an old hand-me-down that was completely coming apart with its plastic coating around a metal rusty pole. This new broom is made of bamboo and the only metal parts are just where you have to screw the pole into the broom to complete the assembly. It's so easy to assemble, and the pole stays in after using the broom to sweep the floors. The bamboo really gives the broom a nice look, even though the functionality is all I really care about. The long lasting bamboo is going to be great, I don't have to worry about this one falling apart or wearing out! I also like the card they put on it to explain the sustainability of bamboo, a little education never hurts! If you've got a small broom that's falling apart, replace it with this one. You'll be so glad you did! It even fits in the same holder that I was using for the old broom. Handle is the perfect size.

So far, I am liking this bamboo broom. It’s very lightweight and easy to use. The bristles are soft and there is a full broom head of them, so full that it picks up the smallest unseen particle of dirt. I vacuum or dust my floors everyday and you can see what I missed in the photo of what this broom picked up. This broom isn’t beveled, so I thought it wouldn’t work as well as some, but it worked better. I did take off one star though because the handle screws onto the bristle head and it has a tendency to loosen while using. I have a large area of wood floors and I had to re-tighten it a couple times. It definitely picks up the dust and dirt though.

We own three dogs and the amount of hair we are continually sweeping and vacuuming up is absurd. Our old nylon broom outlived its usefulness so this bamboo broom is a godsend. The broom is just under 11 inches wide, but has a lightweight but sturdy feel to it. The handle screws tightly into the brush so it doesn’t work it’s way loose like traditional plastic connectors. Does a great job reaching under the fronts of furniture to pull out the dog hair we always seem to have.
