The HDX 10 ft. x 25 ft. Clear Plastic Sheeting (2-Pack) is a general-purpose plastic film for use in a variety of construction and DIY applications. This sheeting can be used as a vapor barrier in between drywall and insulation. Also commonly used as a drop cloth or a temporary cover for equipment and supplies.

Q:Why is some of the packs of this very slippery and others are not? I buy the same two packs every single time, some are so slippery it?s unbearable to try and walk on, let alone try to paint. Am I getting a different one and not realizing it?

Great for a Greenhouse
I have been searching for relatively clear plastic to stretch over my temporary winter greenhouse and it has been a difficult search. Almost all the plastic that is "clear" is actually very cloudy and the sunlight hasn't been strong enough to excite my winter veggies. Finally, I found this very affordable plastic. It is only 3.5 mil.....not as think as my normal 6 mil plastic, but what it gives up in strength, it gains in translucence. I live in Southern California so the winters are not that cold--temp not lower than 40 on most nights--so the thickness is workable for my garden. Here's a photo. Highly recommend this brand. Last year I tried the Huffy brand and it was not clear enough. Greenhouse is 20x20. Joined plastic sheets in center with packing tape. The 1" clamps are perfect for attaching plastic to PVC 1/2"

I didn't use it for it's typical intended purchase... I used it to set up a 6' x 45' slip n slide in my backyard for the 4th of July since most were out of stock places. I'd say this was even better than slip n slide. It was all adults that used it and it's still holding up perfectly. I used yard staples to hold it down and it hasn't ripped at all. I'm taking it down but will definitely plan to use it the rest of the summer! Doubled over it was perfect!

Not clear. Not even opaque.
Bought this to wrap grow shelving to prevent against cold drafts in my attached sunroom. It is not clear. It is not even opaque. I unwrapped it thinking it would be clearer after unfolding the plastic but it is white despite the bag saying “clear”.

I purchased this product to enclose our screened in porch so we could bring in our outdoor plants and maybe keep them alive through the winter. I originally thought that I would have to cut five individual pieces of the plastic and attach somehow but a friend who helped me suggested that we start in one corner and staple it in one piece. It worked out great as one roll did almost four windows and then we used the second roll to do the rest and the doorway. We only made one cut and that was by the end past the door. I think it worked great and will keep the cold out like a greenhouse.
