Are the prongs the same size

AnswerPolarized plug whose blades are two different sizes, you can only insert it one way. Smaller blade goes to the hot wire and the wider blade goes to the neutral one. This prevents the hot and neutral wire from being exchanged.

Works as it should. Very cheap for a 12ft extension cord. The neutral brown color is perfect for use around the house, especially on hardwood floors. I am overall satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product.
