27 Gallon Yellow HDX Tote seems solid
There are at least 2 versions using same part info. Using for 6 gallons of paint and have picked up and moved it a few times. I won't load it heavy. Seems solid. This one shown feels solid and the lid seems good as well. I had to grind off some sharp nubs on the bottom of the bin and the lid.
The second version I looked at had a different lid and bin bottom pattern and felt weaker. So something changed. The one shown is better IMHO. Great price at $12. Recommend, yes. Check version.

The lid
Only after I had carefully filled several 36 gallon “tough” totes during a move did I realize the lid is extremely brittle. I pressed lightly on the center to make it close over some clothing…shattered right down the middle. At first I couldn’t even believe it had cracked because I wasn’t putting any significant weight on it. When I did the same with 2nd container, it shattered into a sharp piece. Of the many storage containers I’ve had before, I’ve never seen a lid this fragile before.

Just a little bit too short
I was able to get my 2pc. weedeater and 4pc. electric pole saw sections in the bottom of the tote, and then I built a shelf out of scrap plywood and short 2x4's to give the tote a second level for all of my smaller and more often used lawn equipment items. This separates everything, and makes finding what I need more easily and quickly. Overall, I like the tote. I just wish it had been a little bit longer, and little bit cheaper than $60, but otherwise, no complaints.

Totes are excellent for organizing. 27gal is large enough to hold common house hold or garage items. Totes are durable enough to hold items such as tools. Handles make the tote easy to lift and the lid fits securely enough to keep contents clean and dry. Totes stack nicely and securely on each other or on a shelf. Toes are durable enough to stack about 5 high with common house hold or garage goods. Totes look great stacked on a shelf compared to loose random items.

Do not skip over. THESE ARE AMAZING!!!
I was looking for something to store my Christmas decorations and ornaments. This worked perfectly and loved that i can stack them. I purchased 3 total and still have plenty of room in each one. Love the sturdiness of the totes and if i want to add a lock, I can. Will be purchasing more in future so all my totes match.
