The stainless steel bristles are terrific (gunite pools only) to work on hard algae spots especially while the soft, durable nylon bristles go to work on everything else!

This is acceptable for a gunite (concrete) pool but should never be used on a vinyl liner or fiberglass surface.
It is especially good to assist with algae removal on a hard surface pool plaster.

Scrubs well metal solid quality

The bristles are long enough to help ensure I can scrub into the curves of the pool floor/wall, and the metal is solid quality that I expect to last me a long time. My previous one was plastic and the bristles were falling off everywhere. Don't have that problem with this one!

I like the stainless steel brushes with the plastic ones hoping it will get those extra stubborn stains, we’ll see. Only gave it 4 stars because I have not use it that much so far...! Time will tell.
