I have 2 sets of shelves/wheels and they are loaded down. I dont think either one reaches 600 lbs though. They move so easily...like a cloud. Buy them and you will be happy you did. So happy you will have to go out and get another set because you loved the last one. Easy to set up too.
Not really. I just tried that. Installed Tee-Nuts in the bottom of the wooden cabinet. The Tee Nuts accept the 3/8" threaded shaft on the casters-- BUT-- the casters lean to the side by design, and pull the TeeNuts right out of the wood. I need to get different casters with the flat plates.
You can use a large wrench or a set of channel lock pliers to tighten the the thin hex nut until it is tight.
Not at all. These wheels are very quiet. I put them on the bottom the HDX 3-Shelf Wire Unit in Chrome and use it to transport heavy items across a school campus so I run them over many different surfaces and they are great. Highly recommend.
wanted to make two units out of one kit so i will have two carts. used the casters in the inserts but need more inserts for the second set of posts. Can not find them anywhere.
They do NOT fit the Husky Metal Cabinets. I tried.
No, these are not threaded stems. They are meant to be inserted into the opening on the bottom of the HDX shelves. Best way I can describe is the sort of slide in and snap in place.
