Compared to Scotch-Brite non-scratch sponges, the HDX sponges are a bit smaller in all dimensions as well as stiffer. The size isn't really an issue, but the stiffness of the scrubbing surface makes it more difficult to work into corners and wrap around things being cleaned. The surface is also coarser than the Scotch-Brite and feels a bit more abrasive, but probably not enough to matter for most purposes.
On the plus side, the HDX sponges hold soap well, unlike some other scrub sponges I have tried.

HDX Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges (9-Count), Blue
These sponges are of good quality. They fit perfectly in your hands. They can be used on any type of kitchenware except for stainless steel. They may be put in the dishwasher or boil for sanitizing. The sponge material is not as tight as other leading brands. Another concern is that the sponges are packaged bulk, and are not individually wrapped. This requires keeping the sponges in a container of your choice in order to protect them from any type of contamination under the sink.
These are made in Canada and are recyclable. I expect normal to little longer than normal usage from these.
Because the sponge material is not as tight, and the fact that they are not individually wrapped, I only rate these as average.
I give them 3*s out of 5.

These non-scratch scrub sponges are a very handy item in my household. They are not only for use in kitchens, but also in bathrooms or on any surface that needs cleaning. One side is a non-scratch scrub surface that is safe for pots and pans and the other side is a soft sponge. After use, you can hand wash these sponges or put them in the dishwasher. I like the 9 pack so I will always have a new sponge when needed.

I have used this type of sponge before, not this brand, but this type. Because of the cost of my cookware, they are all that I will use. I want something that will harmlessly scour off any cooked on food without damaging the cookware. This type seems to do the best, and for less money this HDX brand is a winner for sure. A very handy nine pack keeps me in stock for a good while.

These are the blue non scratch sponges. I used these nearly every day for our kitchen use for cleaning pots and pans and counter tops. The sponge side soaks up water very easily as any sponge would. The blue sand paper side while rough, provides only enough abrasive to lift things off cookware. It does not scratch. I use it a lot on our stainless steel frying pans. They are 2.6" x 4.7". Perfect for bathroom cleaning use too -- works nicely on the toilet bowl.

So far,I have had good results with Home Depot’s in house brand HDX and these scrub sponges are another great example. Comparing them to the brand name overall these are just as good and can save you a few bucks. These are good for many jobs both indoor and out and are not just for dishes and pans,although they do an excellent job cleaning and removing baked on foods. I have used them on my truck wheels,outdoor furniture,scrubbing algae from a fountain,cleaned vinyl siding and scrubbed the bathroom tub and shower. They lasted through the entire cleaning and the sponge did not separate from the scrubber like another brand did. Overall these are decent quality and get the jobs done you are performing.

Larger in size than comparable products, they are odor free and hold soap well. Used to clean a crusted Bundt pan (using the scrub side with dish soap) the sponge did a great job leaving no scratches and easily removing the crusted residue. The sponges rinse easily and completely. Previous experience with similar sponges has been mixed with the sponge breaking apart after just a few uses. While too early to tell for
sure, I feel these sponges will last longer.

Little blue scrubby sponges do a great job. They clean very well, not just on non-stick pots and pans, but we use them on our stainless pieces also. The non-scratch part does a very good job at getting off cooking stains and pieces stuck to pans, but shines them up quickly and then washes them clean with the sponge side. And with nine in one package, they should last a very long time in the kitchen.

The HDX non scratch sponges are easy to use and perform well. Although I do not sanitize any reusable sponge, at this point I am not sure how long these sponge will last. The 9 pack of sponge is reasonably priced compared to other non scratch sponges. I hope that these sponges perform long term without separation of the non scratch service from the sponge. I recommend these sponges for use in your kitchen.

These are your typical kitchen/dishes sponges – one side has a soft sponge surface, the other has a ‘scouring’ surface. The quality of the sponge is fine and they do a nice job on dishes, kitchen counters, etc.
I put a couple in the garage – they’re good for using on car wheels, since the car wash sponges tend to be considerably larger. These HDX sponges get into places the larger sponges can’t, and the scouring side doesn’t scratch the wheel surface. (I don't think I'd use the 'scrubber' side on the car's finish, tho!).
The HDX sponges are comparable to the Scotch-Brite sponges you’d find in the grocery store (see photo of package front). One trick we’ve used – if the sponge picks up an odor that doesn’t rinse out easily, try putting it in the top rack of your dishwasher when running a load of dishes. We’ve had good luck in “rejuvenating” the sponge and the hot water doesn’t seem to bother the sponge.
These are a good sponge at a fair price, and work as advertised.
