You would be looking for a roofing nailer. Heres two excellent options: Husky: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Pneumatic-15-Degree-1-3-4-in-Coil-Roofing-Nailer-DPCN45/300237329 Freeman: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Freeman-Pneumatic-15-Degree-1-3-4-in-Rapid-Fire-Coil-Roofing-Nailer-PCN450/301289865

I found that if I load in another full strip of nails those last few will get used up first. A bit inconvenient but not a show-stopper. This nailer was very popular with my work crew (my adult children) who were all vying to use it. It worked every time, except for those last 2-3 nails that remained in the magazine. I am quite happy with the nailer.

Is this good for roofing as well?

I think this nailer's nails would be too long for roofing. Also the heads of these nails are too small for shingles and the shingles would tear out easily. So no I don't think this would be a good roofing nailer.

Amazing Nailer for Non-Professional
I am an non-professional, hobby builder. I started to build a outdoor kitchen and thought I would need more power for all the framing that I needed. I am so glad I ordered this nailer. I went through over 700 nails and it worked flawlessly. Great value for someone who wont be using it constantly.

This nailer feels lighter than I expected it would. 8 lbs without the nails. Worked good out of the box. Put about 100 2-3/8" and 3" galvanized nails through it today with no issues.

This nailer is good for the value. It has enough power to sink 3.5" nails into 100 year old rough cut hardwood. The only problems I have experienced with this nailer is: It will double shoot nails quite a bit if you do not quickly remove pressure from the trigger.... This is NOT with the rapid fire trigger installed. The 2nd problem is: If the loading spring is not released to keep pressure on the nails (when loading) it will still fire nails. The problem is it will shoot 2 or 3 at a time, and they do not necessarily go into the work.

You get what you pay for - get something else
I bought this because I had a need for a framing nailer on a small DIY job, so I didn’t want to spend to much. This unit was just terrible. It would dry fire half of the time, so basically every other time it would shoot but no nail would come out. It also jammed on me a couple of times. I returned it and spent a little more on a Husky model (on sale) and haven’t looked back.

Came out of the box ready to use. Even came with the quick connector attached. Only complaint is it doesn’t always fullest set 3” nails every time.compare the cost to the Hitichi’s I used before I retired and it is a very good gun.
