AnswersWheels can be removed but they are designed for the low profile frame. Glides aren't available that will work and keep the frame low profile.

This bed frame was the perfect solution for me as I purchased a 14" mattress and kept the 7" box spring. The bed was so high I needed a stepstool to climb in. With this low bed frame it was the perfect height. No more Princess and the pea bed for me, I now have a bed fit for a Queen!
