Answer This Question
A: Hi, Jerry - This is a question that would be more suitably addressed by the water heater manufacturer. VPC/HOME-FLEX cannot make that recommendation.

Answer This Question
A: Hi, Wrong - The store you're shopping at may very well not carry Home-Flex water heater connectors in stock. However, they are available on homedepot.com for delivery directly to your home or local store. Looking at the Everbilt model on line, they appear to be the same.

Q:I went to one of your stores to get two of these "3/4 in. FIP x 3/4 in. FIP x 18 in. Copper Water Heater Connector by HOME-FLEX" - but I was given EVERLAST brand. I got them, because they say that is the only brand they have and the one online is wrong.

Answer This Question
A: Hi, Wrong - We're not sure what you're referring to that our on-line listing is incorrect. All info looks correct. Further, we cannot find "everlast" water heater connectors on homedepot.com to make a comparison to ours.

Q:Will use this on my new water heater. I want to connect hot water side to my CPVC line in home. Wonder how the flex copper fitting sealed; ie, do I need a compression fitting to adapt to my CPVC or just a regular NPT fitting?
thanks

Answer This Question
A: Hi, ThomL - This water heater connector has 3/4" female iron pipe threads (FIP). If your CPVC pipe into the house does not have a fitting on it, you'd have to purchase and install a 3/4" CPVC - Slip x MIPT Adapter Fitting (usually around $1.50), Then just hook up the water heater connector to the CPVC.

A: All you need is a Male NPT fitting with pipe joint sealant or Teflon tape. It worked well for me

The Flex Braided Lines were melting in the inside of them which was passing pieces of rubber in the bath tub and clogging my sink faucet. Now no rubber is coming through the line, I increase the heat on my water heater, and the kitchen faucet pressure has increased.
