- Provide 16 pieces 1/8 in wide filler strips for each shutter set, overall width can be adjusted up to 2 inches (for INSIDE MOUNT only)
- It may be trimmed up to 3/4 in. on the top and 1-1/2 in. on the bottom; do NOT exceed the maximum recommended trimming

AnswerDear Valued Home Depot Customer, We have reached out to the manufacturer and their reply is, They can be installed on any interior opening as long as the hanging strips have a left and right side to attach too . You will get two panels which open from the middle out.

AnswerWe do not supply Unfinished wood shutters but they do come in, light teak , snow. If you look at Faux wood there is an oak color that may suit your needs.

I bought these shutters to go on the front of our TV cabinet (which is actually a bookcase...) The variance in color made it match perfectly, and it looks great----so much better than seeing an open cabinet full of components and DVDs! I love that you can tilt the louvers open and the remote control works just fine. We chose not to put knobs on them, and it has no impact on their functionality. The shutters were so easy to install---I think it took us about 15 minutes to complete the job, using a drill and screwdriver. I would absolutely recommend them---the quality is great, they look amazing, and they gave a great facelift to our TV corner!

Very Happy Customer
Looking 4 shutters actually made out of wood, not plastic. VERY nice. . .very pleased with the product...Easy install and like how they look. Only thing they are made in China. NOT too surprised but pleased and delivery was quick. The hook latch is not great but not sorry we made this choice. Would buy again.

Beautiful!
My husband just installed these shutters on the living room windows. The finish on them is beautiful, giving a nice rich appearance.
The directions were poor. People, be aware that if you opt to install them as an outside mount as we did, you will have to drill the holes yourselves. (The shutters come pre drilled for the inside mount which means that there are holes on the outside of the frame which are visible and the plugs provided are of a different size. Plugs are provided for the inside mount.) I will look elsewhere to find caps to cover these holes.
One pair of shutters are slightly bowed in the middle so as a result, the bottom and top do not come together.
