Affordable, beautiful, not too complicated
Great island!! Perfect for people who just don’t want or can’t afford a kitchen construction zone. Building it wasn’t too bad. All the small details are already fixed and put together (even hinges), you only really have to put ups the sides and top and bottom! Definitely a two person job! Took about 2 hours of nonstop leisurely work. Solid counter top with a beautiful stain.

Cheap countertop, great cabinet
Overall island is great. It gets 2 stars because the veneer top scratches , and chips incredibly easy. There were multiple chips within the first 2 days. They would've accepted a return, but I would've had to disassemble and ship the entire thing back! I will repair myself with wood filler and lacquer. Don't recommend if you have kids@

We really like the island. The assembly was challenging, but my grandchildren and I completed the project with few issues. We did make a mistake with the a chair back but the company replaced the chair back. When we installed the top and drop leaf we discovered a major difference between color of the top and the drop leaf. We contacted customer service and the attached photo illustrates where we are. They told me it is their policy to send on one replacement part, but agreed to send another. I hope this works. So before you start this project check the drop leaf and table top to ensure they match.

Solid unit, seems well built. We are pleased with the functionality and the appearance. Assembly instructions are pictures only and pathetic at best. A part damaged during assembly was quickly replaced at no charge, great customer service. We recommend the purchase.

REALLY Like This!
These items were delivered earlier this week and we assembled this weekend. While the description claims it is easy to put together, you have to be a contortionist to fit a few of the pieces and you need two people to assemble. Once together, we really liked it. Lots of storage space (freed up space in our kitchen cabinets) the top is beautiful. Have to say everything was so well packed (tons of packing material to dispose of!) so no scratches or dents. We aren't using this island in the conventional way with the stools under the hinged flap. We have the island close to the wall with the stools on each side. Leaves us much more room to walk around the kitchen than the old table and chairs we had in this space. We rarely eat in the kitchen, preferring to use the dining room or TV tables while watching movies, so this island is perfect for food prep and other activities.
