Q:Does the maple wood shade vary? The pictures show two shades of wood for the same pantry color. One darker and warmer and one lighter natural maple color.

We love this pantry. Well made. It took my husband about an hour to finish it while I made dinner. The middle drawer is perfect for your aluminum foil, saran wrap, parchment paper, and sandwich bags. We did change out all the knobs to match the other knobs that we have in the kitchen but everything is just lovely.

Red Maple
Color not as shown. I ordered this to match my laminate kitchen cabinets for extra storage but instead of natural maple is more red maple so was disappointed in that sense. The cabinet is beautiful once together. Pic as shown and as is.

Our kitchen is severely lacking in cupboard space and because of this, we needed extra storage for our pots, pans, and glass cookware/storage containers. We looked at quite a few before setting on this particular pantry. When we received it and started removing all the pieces from the packaging, we couldn't help but keep commenting on how extremely well the pantry was packed. Not one piece was broken, chipped or cracked. Every piece was labeled perfectly so there was no mistaking which piece you needed to complete building the pantry and the instructions were very clear and easy to understand. All in all, it took about hour and half to complete because sometimes something just wouldn't quite line up but other then that, a very easy process. The look and feel of the maple wood is awesome and they go perfectly with our kitchen cupboards.
As you can see by our pictures, we have 2 of these pantries now as we liked the first one so much, we purchased a second one. Unfortunately, we did not purchase the second one from Home Depot as they were out of stock. Bottom line is you will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase this pantry as we think it will fit any need you might have.

Only needed a phillips screwdriver to assemble. Took my time to follow the instructions and 2 1/2 hours should complete the project. Before begining be sure floor is level from front to back, side to side and diagonal . Even though there's leveling legs, I had to place shims under the base to level it. Easier to do before job is complete. Besure to use a level on each tier beforecomplete. Total box weight was too heavy for me to handle, so I opened the box and took each component out leaving the sponge wrap on til ready to put together.Looks great works great well engineered.

This is a very nice piece - The instructions were clear and concise so putting it together was not complex. It took my husband around 2 hours to assemble this to completion. Our suggestion is to put the cabinet together where you want it located. It is a sturdy piece, that has ample room and it is handsome in any décor. We love it!!!

This is a solid unit. Although this is called a pantry we purchased it to hold all the extra glassware and kitchen machines that we have accumlated. It is perfect for storage of any kind. Assembly was relatively easy and the parts fit together well. I especially liked the fact that the hinges were pre-installed and the doors went on super easy and fit perfect. Of course I did step away from the Man Rule Book and used the directions. I actually had my wife read them to me while I assembled. It was a good collaboration. Highly recommend this product.

This pantry is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I realize it's called a pantry but I am not using it to store food. My daughter in law is a Pampered Chef director so my kitchen is filled with beautiful stoneware, spices and other great gadgets. The cabinet replaces a wire bakers rack which was nice but the cabinet puts everything behind doors or in the very roomy drawer so it's a much less cluttered look. My husband and I assembled it in about 2 hours. It was really quite easy as many of the key parts were already in place such as the drawer glides and the cabinet hinges. Not one piece was missing which is always a plus.
I have only one complaint and that is the smell inside the cabinet. I'm not sure if it's the wood, the paint or something else but it does not smell good. I have used a few online remedies to alleviate the odor but they have not helped much. I'm guessing it is something that will diminish with time.
Other than that one problem, I love it and have had many compliments on it.
