Pure quality
I got the HOOVER HVRPWR 40V Commercial Fast Charger, Charger Only to use with my Hoover cordless commercial vacuum cleaner. The charger works quickly and charged the brand new Hoover 40V Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately) in a little less than two hours. The charger is well made and is designed to have the battery slide on easily for charging. I recommend this charger along with the entire commercial Hoover vacuum system. The system is pure quality and it all begins with the Hoover 40V Commercial Fast Charger.

Fast charge
This charger goes with the Hoover battery and they work as they should. The charger enables the battery to slide on and click into place. The charge is quick from an empty battery. It makes a low hum when charging. The cord length could be longer, as it's not always easy to be right next to a plug. It has a light indicator, telling you if the battery is still charging, fully charged, or if there is a problem.
Overall, great charger. While this is technically a commercial product, it's durability, versatility, and quality make it an easy choice for residential.

Excellent charger
The HOOVER HVRPWR 40V Commercial Fast Charger, Charger Only is a brilliant piece of equipment. Straight out of the box, it was obvious how to use it. I simply plugged it in and installed the lithium-ion battery (sold separately) and in 1 hour and 37 minutes, the battery was registering at a full 100%. As it’s charging, it makes a soft humming noise and has a light display so you can easily assess the progress. With the green lights flashing during the entire charging process, I could tell the charger was working. I’m so impressed with the entire cordless Hoover design and set-up of their cordless vacuums. I own both the upright and the backpack style. I definitely recommend this charger.

Great fast charger.
HOOVER MPWR 40V Commercial Fast Charger CH07150, Charger Only, is part of the commercial line and UL certified. You can charge the 40V 12amp Lithium ion battery quickly, remember that is a high capacity Lithium battery this charger maintains, I think I read it works on the 6amp battery as well. You can hang the charger. My setup here is using a HVRPWR Hoover Cordless BackPack CH93619, made in the USA. On high I get about an hour runtime. If you are using this more than an hour at a time. Buy another battery and this charger will keep you working or run on Hush for a longer run time. Recharge time depends on how depleted the battery is when you put it on the charger. Keep the charger with you and charge while you work.The charger fan makes a low hum as it charges but does a great job of protecting the investment you made in your battery system, because with a Lithium battery you need a great charger.. The battery locks in place on the charger and has a fingertip release so you can easily remove the battery from the charger or the vacuum. The charger's electrical contacts are well hidden so as you work with the charger there is no way for you to come in contact with them. It has an information panel on the right side that uses lights to tell you that the power is on, if it is being tested, if there is an error, it is being charged and then when the charge is complete, the light turns solid green. There is in depth information on those functions in a well written manual. It is simple. It is tough enough to handle very frequently and has a one year commercial warranty which is a long time when the word commercial is used..

Commercial Fast Charger
This Battery and Charger will be so handy when I am in need of replacing the battery in my Vacuum. This way I can have this one ready to go while the other one charges. Quick clean ups and daily household chores are a must when I know the little ones are going to be around. That is quite a few days a week. I was impressed at how efficient and quiet it was while charging. I am very pleased to have this added to my Vacuum.
