With two kids, this is a MUST
My wife has hip dysplasia so she can't keep up with cleaning and our entire apartment has these horrible, cheap, fake wooden floors that get sticky dirty if you look at them wrong. We bought a steam mop, the pad would gunk up and just spread the dirt around. Regular mops got dirty and wouldn't get clean again. Scrubbing by hand got exhausting too quickly. My wife and I had been going back and forth on buying this machine, looking at everything else on the market. We both wish we would have purchased this when we moved in, not a year later. I can get the floors SPOTLESS in one weekend now or clean up the kids bad messes without taking up a ton of time. We've always purchased Hoover and this just further reinforces those choices!

Awesome vacuum
I absolutely love this vacuum. When on and in an upright position the brush roll shuts off automatically so it doesn't sit there and chew up your carpet when using the wand attachments. It also has a button to press with your foot to turn off the brush roll to do hard floor surfaces. It has 7 height adjustments most vacuums only have 3. The wand attachment is awesome, when you detach the hose and re-attach it you know it's attached because it "clicks" back into place. The suction is incredible! I could go on and on about this vacuum. It really is the BEST vacuum on the market that you buy!

Engineering disaster
Horrible. I have 2 short hair chocolate labs. Canister constantly plugs up then you have to fish material out of throat to canister. I can hand pick the hair up faster than the time it takes me to clean it out. The canister is simply designed poorly.

Here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. - OR - We recommend checking to see if your filter is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove any debris. While you have the filter removed rinse it with water until the water runs clear, allow dry time (24-36 hours). Finally, a machine that works!
I've tried other machines this one hands down works the best! If something is sticky you might have to go over it a few times but it comes up! I have 2 short hair dogs and it got all the hair up! Love love love it! My only recommendation would be beef up the brushes. Looked to see if I could buy some but only see the ones it comes with. Other than that its awesome!

Best Vacuum Cleaner on the Planet!!!
I purchased this vacuum cleaner in 2018 and it was absolutely fabulous!!! It was inadvertently thrown away in 2019 and I had a less desirable model purchased for me. I dealt with the other model for almost two years. When I ran across the model details for the WindTunnel I purchased before; I purchased it again. I am totally satisfied with my vacuum cleaner NOW and the ease of my cleaning experience. I have only ever used Hoover products and this vacuum cleaner has been the best yet!!! I have had two different models in the past few years and this model is fantastic.

Roller doesn't work
Literally was not even able to vacuum once with it. The belt that came on this brand new vacuum is so loose that the roller will not spin. This is a piece of junk. Now I have to try and box the dang thing back up to return it.

No More Back Breaking

Do not recommend for high pile carpeting!
Great on hard floors and low pile carpeting. TERRIBLE on high pile carpeting. I've tried everything, had contacted Hoover directly and they didn't have any answers why it doesn't work well on high pile. The vacuum has pulled the fibers in my carpeting throughout. Very frustrating!

Over Engineered Dirt Cup
I vacuum weekly. I must have a good vacuum cleaner. I am constantly bringing grass, dirt or other things in from my gardening job. I am a lifelong hoover user (minor exception- the college years were DirtDevilDays). My previous Hoover lasted 15 years. I was hesitant to get this model because I am used to simple design. I also clean my vacuum after every use. There are so many pieces to the cup on this machine it is insane. One-piece falls into the garbage every time I empty the dust cup. The cup, shroud and skirt cover the tubes that collect dust and are impossible to clean without a large, long bottle brush or a compressed air hose. I spend more time cleaning this machine than vacuuming. I have posted video of this on YouTube. It does not suck. This is not a good thing. I need a vacuum to suck. My UH72600W is held together with Duck tape because the latches have some tiny piece that has cracked or chipped off making all the "release lever" useless. The instruction manual says to "pivot dirt cup into vacuum body..." the flange between the hose and the dirt cup do not seal. There are at least 7 more points of failure that I have found with this machine. Hoover I expected better from you. I am sorely disappointed.

I would not buy this product again
I was expecting great things from this particular PowerDash product. But after reading the reviews, it was true, the vacuum didn't pick up the water left on the floor as I was expecting. I called customer service and she said to add some water in the collecting tank but it still didn't pick up much water. I miss the Floormate (sold out). I will wait for that. I like Hoover products. I realize people can be very harsh and critical and say don't buy this but you gain even better ideas from their comments. I don't expect a miracle from any machine. I can't expect a product to miraculously clean the grout of the tile. It's really a blessing that companies such as yours can give us an easier way of living. So thank you for making such wonderful, helpful products.
