AnswerAny farmhouse sink should be the same width as the cabinet or opening. We purchased the 36" sink as our cabinet was 36". As it turned out, the sink is slightly less than 36" so the installer had to put a thin piece of wood trim (was easy to do)

Beautiful sink when installed. Installed two weeks ago and already a few scratches (look like a grey discolored line) to the interior. One was immediately noticeable around the drain. Other have appeared from setting dishes in he sink. A

Very great sink. Cleans well. Installation went smooth with our plumber. Its beautiful and great quality. My only problem is that I can't find the matching grid to go on the bottom to protect it even though it is advertised as available. Overall don't overthink it, its a great sink.
