It's not real critical; a pan-head or round-head wood screw, #8 or #10 would be good, and 3/4 inch or 1 inch length will be sufficient, though you could go longer.
Normally 1/4" although in many cases a #10 would be adequate. The hole is sized for 1/4".
A regular drywall screw will hold it just fine.
No, Use: 1/2 in. Rigid 1-Hole Strap Rigid straps are slightly larger diameter and used for PVC conduit, Liquidtight flex, Rigid and IMC conduit, steel and aluminum flex EMT is a conduit that is slightly smaller diameter and EMT straps are only sized for EMT
The thickness is .071 or 15 gauge. Thanks for your question.
You'll need to use an actual anchor going into drywall or be sure to fasten into a stud. Attaching with just a screw into drywall will get you a failed inspection.
It’s what I use.
It should

Hi Chauncine, you can use a #8 or # 10 screw.
